I knew nothing about the movie other than it was from DC. I thought it was pretty good too.
Doctor Strange was okay. I thought fighting the chick for the entire movie was kinda of dumb.

Wanna jump in the cage huh? Wild at heart for sure, I mean “Bobby larues teeth” are worth the price of admission.
After that, I’m fast times and valley girl all the way duuuude!
I’m not a fan of Doctor Strange. I can’t decide if it’s the character or the actor I don’t care for.
It’s Bobby Peru but yes Wild at Heart is killer Lynch and Cage…
Love that one and have wanted a snakeskin jacket ever since.
But raising Arizona…that’s my #1 cage match.
Mine too, as well as my favorite movie of all time.
I really adore VAMPIRE’S KISS too. I suspect I can get that pretty cheap off Amazon.
I heard that the thrash metal band playing in that scene is an actual band in real life. They were called Power Mad or something.
Powermad were a thrash band from the 80s. Only had a couple releases. I have the The Madness Begins… EP, but I think they had a full length called Absolute Power.
Don’t know which song was in the movie, but this was always my favorite track of theirs:
Cage eats the live cockroach in Vampires Kiss…what a weird fever dream of a movie…and Raising Arizona is an all time classic and one of the great quotable movies ever… everything about it is perfect…
That Powermad track playing when Cage kills guy by stair / goes to the dance is called SLAUGHTERHOUSE! HERE it is on Youtube. Kinda like a slightly harder Anthrax or something.
Not a movie but watched the finale of Better Call Saul…what a banger!!..great way to end a great series…
Yeah, not bad for an ending!
Anyone here watch the HBO series Westworld?
I do. Great show.
Devil In A Blue Dress (1995)
Denzel Washington suspense/mystery/thriller film from mid 90’s.
Really liked it and highly recommend anyone who has yet to see it please check it out.
I did up until I think the first season where the robot figured out she was a robot as she took a stroll around the office. I like the idea of the series but it didn’t hold my interest.
Read and enjoyed the book but have never seen the movie, should do that, I hear it’s a strong adaptation. I think Washington did another Easy Rawlings movie too but could be wrong.
Trainwreck: Woodstock 99…really entertaining 3 part series on that shit show of a festival…
