Watched “You Don’t Mess With the Zohan” the other day.
Currently watching “Soldier,” in which Kurt Russell goes apeshit and kills everything.
Was Zohan crap? Someone gave me an .avi of that ages ago I havent watched it yet.
Does Sandler get angry, and scream, then do a funny little voice and do something zany, and end up getting a chick?
Heh… I don’t actually mind sandler movies that much, some of them anyway.
Soldier, haha, I got that on VHS back in the day because it had a Monster Magnet song on the soundtrack. Therefore it must have been good right?
Well I can barely remember it so I suppose that answers my question (or it could just have been the drugs affecting my memory… hmm)
Maybe it was the high fever and the pain meds, but dammit, it almost killed me.
See, I find things that really aren’t funny to be fuckin’ hilarious sometimes, and a few REALLY inocuous parts in the movie, like this poster that says “Hacky Sack Mania” made me almost vomit in laughter.
More of a documentary - “30th Century Man”. It’s about Scott Walker. Sure, Neubauten pounded on meat and pipes years ago, but Scott is a genius. Check it out.
Zombieland. Great comedy with a small love story. Not scary or anything, so don’t expect a horror movie.
also Cold Souls (i think it’s called) about paul giamatti who is an actor and feels his anxiety and emotions are getting in the way, so he has his soul removed and put in storage. Then his soul gets mixed with some russian soul trafficking ring, trouble ensues.
I tried to watch saw 6 but i fell asleep both times I put it on, so i just gave up

Wow, that’s an excellent premise there could be quite a few story lines that could be run through that idea.
the whole gay angle. A married couple who are Homophobes have their souls stored to be reanimated later but when they come back they company fucks up and puts the wife’s soul in a guy’s body. so what happens? It’s still his wife but a different shell…
good Idea I think.

I don’t know guys, I thought Zombieland was a steaming pile. An odd funny moment with Harrelson or Murray but the rest… [:|]
see i liked a bunch of the stuff, woody’s over the top killing, the various rules that were stated and if youpaidattention would be written on screen at vrious points. the love part was a little iffy, but the search for the twinkie and obviously Bill MOTHERFUCKING Murrey (line from coffee and cigerettes rza and gza from the wu-tang clan kept repeating over and over) it justhit me. YOu know some days you see a movie and it just clicks, whether it’s enviorment or who yousee if withor just your mood? well uyesterday it worked for me. I don’tthinki’d buy it or make it a regular watch but it served it’s purpose and like I said after saw 6 anything was genius

yeah pretty much this^ . I liked how rule 31(?) fell off the bumper. then the whole “you want some purell?” The love story was kinda hokie but the fact that they kept getting screwed over by the girls was pretty funny. And the Murray bit was great. especially how he got killed.
good shit. Like it for being a stupid movie with a few witty jokes.

I can’t believe I haven’t watched ‘Inland Empire’ until now, Lynch always does a wonderful job of creating this innate sense of dread that rises from the pit of my stomach.
INLAND EMPIRE is excellent, such a memorable film experience. I remember being fatigued after watching it the first time in the cinema. That’s what cinema should do, or at least those type of films. Take you in, wear you down, then spit you out with a smile on your face.
