I think it might have been from phone conversation that ended up being recorded by an answerphone at a club or something like that, if i remember right.
I was just wondering the same. I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone from the inner circle give an explanation. I think I’ve only heard fan chatter on it.
But, yes, it’s absolutely AMAZING. Their accents are just incredible.

Yeah, although it sounds “legit” I’ve never really been able to come up with a reasonable explanation of how such a recording would even exist and make it into the hands of the band.
