Yeah it’s ugly and insanely tilted in the media. The other night they mentioned Hamas fired 250 rockets into Israel…they then added that NO ONE was killed by these 250 rockets? What kind of friggin rockets are these guys firing? $1.50 sky rockets or something.

They have a right to shut the fuck up and calm the fuck down. Obama should get serious with these assholes and stop prefacing what he says with “they have a right to defend themselves”. There should be a serious and unequivocal message that if they don’t stop hitting residential/civilian areas they can expect zero support from U.S. from now on.

I think it’s because we feel sorry for Israel. NATO drew those boarders giving the Jews a place to go, which pissed off the Arabs and we’ve been trying to defend that NATO decision ever since. That’s my take on it but I don’t know if my opinion is exactly more versed in world affairs, as you asked for.

do you actually believe that? based on what? the U.S is the aggressor here. even if iran did get nuclear weapons, it would be purely for defensive reasons. in the past century they’ve been under constant control of either the russians, british or the americans powers, and now that the west can’t control them, they label them as terrorists, try to portray them as “evil”, and threaten them with economic, cyber and military warfare. iran just wants to safeguard their sovereignty.

Grumpy - it’s amusing how you defend Obama’s conduct around this issue and claim that the other side would be handling it in a worse way. There is no way America would send troops into Palestine, whichever side was in power. The Gazans are trapped, blockaded and completely outgunned. All america needs to do is offer the Israelis political cover and provide them with weapons and aid.
