Any funny studio or tour drama stories, like say Al pulling some immature prank on Paul, who in turn gets pissed and shatters Alā€™s crackpipe against the wall into a million pieces followed by a shoving match while meanwhile Bill Rieflin storms out in disgust cause heā€™s sick of waiting for the sound check to happen?

Any stories like that? God I love those stories.

[reply]I think it would be funny to hear Al speak spanish in the with sympathy singing voice. Fake british accent doing choppy spanishā€¦
Late,

Reminds me of the bit in Chris Connellyā€™s book where heā€™s attempting to speak Castillian Spanish with a Scottish accent to Mexicans.[/reply]

My Argentinian friend always breaks out the castillian on me, and some italian in turn i call him a european homo wannabe.

Iā€™d like to see Paul get mad because I canā€™t picture it.

Yeah true, he must have the patience of a saint to have put up with Al all those years.

ā€œSatando Giganteā€ is the best fucking thing Iā€™ve read all day.

^
Nice. I figured youā€™d get that one, Pick. And I bet you read it in that voice too, right? You know the one Iā€™m talkinā€™ 'bout.

pablo does have the patience of a saint. with me.
he only gets mad when someone breaks his concentration.

That voice pretty much advertises EVERYTHING in my neck of the woods. Itā€™s damned hard not to.

does paul ever listen to his own music?

paul, like most, canā€™t stand to listen. we listen to other shit.

Do you guys get to see Cri Ninaud that often? Heā€™s a nice guy - he says he bikes with Paul sometimes.

Just let Eerie Loch remix it for you first. Then it will be like something fresh and new for you guys.

What is Paulā€™s favorite Ministry album? Song?

What is your favorite Ministry album? Song?

Thatā€™s not a bad question.

Paul does occasionally see Cri. He and his twin brother rode motorcycles with Paul when they all lived in Seattle.
On another note,my favorite Ministry song would have to be ā€œGraceā€, because I gave it that title over the phone at a packed Blackhawks game.
LORAH is awfully sweet, but what do I know. I only lived it.

no love lost. man.

Gerda, Al has said he has virtually no memory of making Dark Side Of The Spoon. Was this album Ministryā€™s ā€˜Paulā€™ album then? Was this album mostly Paul??

Or is Al bullshitting?

I actually take Al pretty much at face value on that one. That album is so dark and full of bitterness, scorn, and acidic sarcasm, and it just drips with druggy evil. And when I saw him on this tour, although they performed amazingly, Al truly gave the impression to me that he was living (barely) on a completely different plane of existence.

That album to me really feels like someoneā€™s soul captured and recorded. He may hate it, and, frankly, if Iā€™d gone through what he had, I may feel the same, but I think it is the most honest and souful album heā€™s ever made.

methinks Paul really liked Filthpig. itā€™s ā€œsludgeinessā€.blame it on the bassā€¦
