PROTESTS, RIOTS, DESTRUCTION..... US in Chaos

I can’t imagine it would mix well, since it’s already a flavor. did you get it at bevmo? I’d love to try it. I’m a fan of most things peach.

^ No, a friend mailed it to me. I’ll get you the link. I’m not sure how wide their distribution is.

I recently noticed a few friends on FB posting stuff that apparently led back to this Q-Anon jibber jabber. One of the claims was that $34 Quadrillion of “dirty money” was seized from the Vatican.

I made a couple notes in hopes that such stories could be properly seen as completely bananas. $34 Quadrillion is roughly 400 times the total GDP of our entire planet. You can give literally every person on Earth (including babies and seniors on their death beds, etc.) more than $4 Million each with that “dirty money”.
None of this phased them, and I explained that if that was in clean, bricked $100 bills that the volume of it would be roughly equivalent to 1/4 of the entire Grand Canyon. No matter how many examples I gave in visual and graspable measures, it didn’t matter. The only response I could get was stuff like, “That’s what they TELL you” (in response to publicly accessible figures about GDP and Grand Canyon volume and such).

I mean, you can’t really have a normal discussion because if I told my reasonable friends that our nation was being controlled by an underground shadow corporation and that it’s a plan to overthrow a conspiratorial leadership of pedophiles and for some reason there are 34 Quadrillion dollars under the Vatican, you’d rightly say, “That is fucking RETARDED and none of it makes any goddamned sense and if you need to know just a few reasons why, let’s talk about those 15 fucking zeroes to start. . . .”

But, once you’ve decided that a Grand Canyon’s worth of money 400 times more than the planet’s entire worth hiding under a building is feasible . . . you kind of admit at that point that you will literally believe ANYTHING and it doesn’t matter what anyone says about it otherwise.

So yeah, these QAnon dodos will continue to make all these outlandish predictions / claims and then when NONE of them happen (there’s a new one about Trump taking office on March 4th after some global martial law bullshit) it’ll just be “Okay, March 4 didn’t happen as originally predicted because Trump rightly rescheduled it when he found out about a clone Biden living in the White House toilet who was poised to take seat in the office as Biden one was removed”…

There’s no end to this bullshit.

I just find it fucking embarassing that grown ass adults with otherwise functioning brains find themselves pulled down these holes.

Weirder too, that these people probably see a documentary about Heaven’s Gate or some such goofballs and say, “Wow! What a bunch of weirdoes! Can’t believe they bought that garbage!” I always rolled my eyes at the “cult” stuff previously, but after finding out just how brainless and bananas these dopes are . . . yeah, okay, I’ll admit it, it’s totally fucking valid.

I think perhaps we’ve always had the same percentage of people prone to such nonsense but in recent years technology just makes them that much more accessible.

And I also ponder the WHY of it all. I feel like there’s an evolutionary type of dynamic in play. Like there is a part of our brain that is so active but it USED TO be occupied with hunting woolly mammoths, picking berries, jumping off glaciers and all the primal survival shit. And now it’s just a lump of unstimulated energy that with a sizable portion of people gets tickled by talk of lizards and aliens and all kinds of nonsense.

That’s fuckin nuts!

I think Qanon is steve bannon.
I’ve seen several articles written by him and seen a few transcripts claimed to have been written by this qanon person and if I were a betting man i’d put money down that they’re the same person based on the diction and the syntax of the writings.

and for shits and giggles if you replace the Q with a B you get his name, banon. I’m not super sure of this or anything like I was with peligro is olsen but I’m sure enough to say it out loud. and to throw money down on it if there was a betting line for it. I could be wrong though.

One of the only good things to come out of the capitol insurrection and the ensuing fallout was finding out just how many people I’d grown up with or had been friends with were either full-on QAnon believers or who are now just mask-off fascists now. A guy who I’d been super close with in childhood is now livestreaming himself praying to the Gadsden flag, reading scripture, comparing Jesus of Nazareth to Trump, and is talking of waging a holy war against China, whom he says is keeping the American people under “medical martial law.”

@Gunnar, you fuckin called it years back, saying how you’re not at all concerned about Trump but rather the kinds of people that venerate him. And how.

Who else is loving this crazy WallStreetBets / GameStop / Robinhood story? I’m not buying such stocks or participating directly, but it’s a lot of fun watching all the madness. And it’s of course super fun to see some vulturous fat cat billionaires take a bowling ball to the nuts.

Fuck yea! I see there’s talk of trying to sue these cats for “market manipulation,” to which I say BULLSHIT. WTF?! A dude told a bunch of his on-line friends, “Hey buy this stock and I will too.” How is that manipulation? Also, why would they sue that but not these fuckers that short the stock? What’s more manipulative than shorting stock?
It’s funny but it’s not gonna be because these shitty ass hedge funds are looking for a bailout again over it. SO they privatize their profits and socialize their losses. what bullshit…
The only reason I’m even following this story is because I just bought into the stock market. Otherwise I wouldn’t care until these fuckers come begging with their hand out. Fuck em let them get a job at dollar general!!

… but I’m now a small owner of the CRISPR company out switzerland. I really think CRISPR is going to revolutionize medicine in about 10-15 years, so I figure, If I get in now while I can afford to buy 1 or 2 stocks a month I think I’ll have a nice healthy pile of stocks by the time they are worth a gazillion dollars. I guess we’ll see. I’m kinda treating it like vegas. not buying/betting more than I can afford to lose. so maybe 1 or 2 stocks a month depending on the price of them.

CHAUVIN: Guilty. Guilty. Guilty.

Followed by peaceful celebration/protest.
Hope this continues accordingly and I do hope this starts a movement of change and improvements within our police and justice systems.

I was driving down Sunset today and all the businesses were boarding up again.

Glad we dodged a bullet here.

Well, I don’t see how the jury could come to anything else… I mean the trial was televised. We heard everything the jury heard. A great many cops went to that trial and broke the code and threw a fellow officer under the bus, which is unheard of. but when you have that many cops take the stand against a fellow officer… yikes. He was fucked or else we were all fucked.
I can’t believe one of his defenses was “the car exhaust killed him.” Ok sure, officer friendly, how did his lungs come to inhale so much car exhaust that he died? Oh it points back to you again… right.

Sad as shit it’s taken this long. But hopefully it starts the trend of holding cops accountable.
Next up that fucker who was on the force for 20 years and can’t tell the difference between a taser and a gun even though they have different weights and different balances… What the fuck ever! send her away too!

“Officer Friendly”. . .hahahaha

I was a big Vio-Lence fan too. Finally go to see them right before this goddamned pandemic. Great show!

Even the piece of shit assholes who sided with Chauvin obviously had to know he didn’t stand a fucking chance in hell…it was very apparent he was at least getting convicted of 1 of those 3 charges…there might be a bit of surprise he got sunk on all 3 but there was no way he was walking out of that courtroom free…

And yeah the car exhaust defense was laughably absurd…give me a fucking break…

I only saw the little synopses/summaries of the charges, and the “second degree manslaughter” seemed like a given, as it only required proving “negligence” or something and seemed like the “slam dunk” of the bunch. The others looked like a real stretch, but I like to believe it was all taken into consideration and the jury was thoughtful and logical in their evaluation and decision. I wasn’t there and I didn’t follow the full details of the trial. I have a lot of mixed feelings (which also lead me to question my feelings, haha) but ultimately I’m glad we avoided another nationwide shitshow from any fallout and I’m hopeful that this continues to move our policing and justice systems toward some positive reform.

Yeah ,no doubt…

California dad killed his kids over QAnon and ‘serpent DNA’ conspiracy theories:

A California surfing school owner who was charged with killing his two children in Mexico is a follower of QAnon and Illuminati conspiracy theories who thought the children “were going to grow into monsters so he had to kill them,” federal officials alleged.

Matthew Taylor Coleman, 40, was charged Wednesday with foreign murder of U.S. nationals in connection with the death of his 2-year-old son and his 10-month-old daughter, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California. Authorities said Coleman confessed to the killings and told the FBI that he used a spear fishing gun to stab them.

A criminal complaint alleges that he told the FBI that he killed his children because he believed they “were going to grow into monsters” and that conspiracy theories led him to believe that his wife had passed down her “serpent DNA” to the children.

Coleman’s wife, identified only by her initials, contacted Santa Barbara police after her husband had taken the kids out on Saturday but didn’t tell her where they were going, the complaint said. She grew concerned after he failed to respond to her messages, and, knowing that her husband didn’t have a car seat with him, she called police.

A missing person’s report was filed Sunday, and officers asked her to use Apple’s Find My iPhone feature to see whether she could find Coleman, the complaint said. The program showed Coleman’s last known location in Rosarito, Mexico, it said.

Police alerted the FBI to the investigation as it became a case of suspected parental kidnapping. Coleman was detained Monday after an inspection by border protection agents of his van upon his re-entry into the U.S., where agents didn’t see his children and found blood in the vehicle, authorities said.

The complaint alleges that Coleman confessed to the killings upon being interviewed Monday and gave authorities the location of the murder weapon and the discarded bloody clothing. He also identified two bodies recovered by Mexican authorities as those of his children, it said.

A judge ordered that Coleman be held without bond Wednesday and scheduled his arraignment for Aug. 31.

According to the complaint, Coleman said that he knew what he did was wrong but that “it was the only course of action that would save the world.”

“Serpent DNA” is a likely to be a reference to the “lizard people” conspiracy theory, which falsely purports that reptilian aliens secretly run the world and have taken over important positions in government, banking and Hollywood.

The complaint says Coleman told authorities that he learned about “serpent DNA” through QAnon and Illuminati conspiracy theories, even though the lizard people conspiracy theory predates both by several decades.

The believers in each conspiracy theory have melded together over the last several years because conspiracy theory influencers and algorithms on social media frequently lump the theories together.

QAnon is a more recent conspiracy theory premised on the belief that a similar global cabal at the top of the U.S. government is secretly murdering and eating children and that Donald Trump was quietly working to defeat them during his time in office.

Anthony Quinn Warner, who bombed his own RV outside an AT&T building in Nashville, Tennessee, on Christmas Day, claimed that lizard people were taking over Hollywood and the U.S. government. Warner died and three other people were injured.
