Y’all have already seen my dog and Ice’s dog, but my little buddy turns five today, so I thought I would start this warm fuzzy thread. Also, he eats poop too, so this thread should fit in just fine with all the others.
Tucker:
Plus I recently got a couple buddies to keep me company at work.
This one is Gira:
And this one is Jarboe:
Gira & Jarboe are “Dragon Scale” bettas, which means they have been bred to have big iridescent scales. It is hard to tell from the pictures, but Gira’s scales are kinda orange when the light hits him from certain angles and greenish from other angles, like those chameleon paint jobs on cars that were so big ten years ago. Jarboe has kind of the same thing going to a lesser extent with her scales being pink/white depending on angle.
By the way, it is REALLY HARD to get decent pictures of fish.
So yeah, everybody post pictures of their little animal pals. This is the internet, after all.
I have a cat. Her name is Pinhead, but we call her Pinny. She pukes on the floor all the time. She’s a picky eater. She sometimes drops turds or wipes her ass on the carpet. She does not like to be held. She is a “Tortoise Shell” cat and ugly as heck. I think she’s the Devil.
I have a dog. A Maltese. Small little thing, named Otto.
I wanted a dog, the wife wanted a cat. So we compromised on a little dog. Plus, I’m deathly allergic to pet dander, and this dog is hypoallergenic, so I’m not struggling to breathe all the time.

That’s an adorable looking dog. Is it all high pitched yappy? Can’t stand yappy dogs, no matter how cute and friendly they are. One of the reasons I dig Boston Terriers. They don’t bark much, and when Tucker barks it’s pretty hilarious, he’s like one of those little kids with a raspy voice, like a chain smoking kindergartner.
I have 4 dogs…Fozzie and Gunther(brothers from a Golden Retriever)…Brie(a mutt with some Dashaund and possibly pit bull) and Q-Tip(a little fluffball of unknown origin)…
Remember those people when you were growing up who had ferret’s?..I never got that…never saw the benefit in those stinky, sketchy, squirrley little bastards…
We rescued him last October. The Chicago PD found him wandering down the street in one of the worst neighborhoods in the city and turned him over to Animal Control who, in turn, placed him in the PAWS Shelter on the Northside. He’s a pure-bred Silky Terrier. How a pure-bred Silky with a docked tail, no tags and no chip ended up walking the streets is anyone’s guess. We estimate his age to be about 3 years old…and he’s just great. He weighs in at about 14 pounds and if you’ve ever had the good luck to have a small terrier in the house you know what a joy they are.

I’ve got a dog named Emily. She is also a rescue. Cost me $30. Best $30 I’ve ever spent. Had her since Nov.
.
This is my last dog who passed away last year. Her name was BayLee. Found her roaming the streets of Mid-Town Atlanta. This picture is from when she was young.
I like ferrets, but I sure as hell don’t wanna own one ever. They are extraordinarily high maintenance and they destroy everything they touch.
THIS. Beastmaster just doesn’t give you the whole picture.
I would love to have a pet skunk though. You get them descented and they don’t stink any more than a descented ferret. Apparently they are like cats, but smarter and more curious. Which sounds like a disaster waiting to happen honestly, but man are they cool. My wife wants a capybara but you have to have a swimming pool for them.
I have a cat that is a Torbie. She hates people food and does not jump on the counter. She loves to be brushed and that cuts down on the puked up hairballs.
I love the doggie pictures; Wemp’s fluffy baby is adorable.
Probably striped. They’ve bred all different kinds of stripes and colors. Pet skunks are illegal in most states though, including Missouri, so I am shit out of luck on that one until they change the law. In the UK it is illegal to get your pet skunk descented, so I bet that cuts down the number of people keeping them there.
