yup. I read i on blabbermouth a while back… strangely it’s only burton and dino back, while the raymond and christian (drummer and bassist who stayed after dino left like 10 years ago) and not coming back.

Im excited about the FF reunion for one reason - they now have Gene Hoglan on drums…
I actually bought (as a download) the Prong remix album, so I guess I’m one of the 175. There’s not a super amount of originality to the mixes - most are a variation on replacing the original drumbeat with something dancier and adding a few samples - but overall I like it better than the original.
In fact, it sounds rather like a long-lost Fear Factory album from the '90s. You Fear Factory fans in this thread should consider getting a copy.
I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for Prong, even though I am unfamiliar with their stuff since Rude Awakening (which I liked a lot when it came out). Checked a few of those remixes and it seems nothing special but then again I’m not a big fan of remix albums. They are playing near me in June; I’d consider going if I had a few drinks in me and wanted to rock out for a while but the gig is on a monday and that means gay drinking hours.
I know there are some here who don’t think much of them but some of their albums aren’t half bad. I think a persistent problem is Victor’s vox though. He can’t sing. Maybe those songs would be better with Al’s distorted vox. Maybe not.

lol I just had an image of all bars in the country enforcing segregated drinking hours where the homosexuals are allowed to drink and then are ushered out promptly by 8pm or something so the straights can begin drinking.

If I remember right, the 175 copies is for the CD format. This doesn’t count any online sales or digital downloads. So I am not surprised.
As for the album itself, it really isn’t bad. You of course have to be a fan of Prong to begin with, which I am. I like it better than the original and commend 13th Planet for getting an array of mixers for this. No Al on the mixes, but was surprised to see DJ Accucrack.

this isn’t a comment on the cd itself, just it’s sales… and i highly doubt that the downloads of this album were/are gonna push that number much higher
