Please don’t let it be Atkins.

It’s strange if this is supposed to be some kind of industrial purist noise project, but the people in it are all from the industrial rock scene. Either way I’ll probably love it.
I guess you don’t know that much about Raymond. He actually got his start in Neubaten. I haven’t heard anything by them that could be considered “rock.” And have you ever listened to 80’s KMFDM? That stuff is pretty noisy too.
As for Van Acker, I’m guessing that’s where his roots are. I can’t speak for his solo stuff, and I dunno how involved he was on Beers, Steers & Queers and Linger Ficken Good, but Big Sexy Land was way more on the noise side than the rock side.

I’m sure if Atkins was involved with this in any way that it would’ve been a Pigface album from the get. And we still don’t know if that’s Vrenna or Connelly.
Vrenna has confirmed on Twitter.
Good…this will be interesting. So glad Raymond is involved…PIG rules!!

He had noisier leanings earlier on; his contributions and credits on Foetus - RIFE, some of his songs on early KMFDM (“The Unrestrained Use of Excessive Force”). Really, though? Most PIG is paint by numbers industrial rock song structuring from 88-present. I say that with lots of love too. I just wouldn’t expect this project to bring about any new revelations from Ray or anyone else involved.
I’m not sure picking a band name that gets so many hits to Stormfront and similar sites when you google it was such a great idea…
So the guy behind it all is Chris Kniker. He does bass and is a small time producer. I only say small time cuz he doesn’t have a big body of work. Some of his work includes Sexx-O-Mixxx-O and KMFDM’s last album.
So is this like the new Pigface? lol. What industrial needs is new blood. A buncha old farts arent going to put industrial back on the map.
Reznor should join and make this thing legit, though. Anything Watts touches is gold, so I’m all in.
They should keep their identities concealed though!! And use that as a selling point.Once they reveal themselves I might lose interest Haha.

Wow, I’m sold!
oh wait…
they already pretty much have. the last guy is some sound engineer for tweaker or something. the whole concept is stupid anyway. no one really gives a shit who they are :p.
my ideal industrial supergroup would consist of al jourgensen, raymond watts, jim thirwell, trent reznor and cevin key. orgasmic. i’m probably missing someone important.
Through in bill leeb and Rhys lord of lard and you’ve got all the big names of industrial from the 90’s ,shit…have a feat. with f.m. einheight maybe the nitzer ebb guy’s (that total age is totally underated)and you’d have the record of the decade for me.

Yea they pretty much have. lol.
Watts and Thirlwell are too similar, I’d take Watts for the mass appeal. Although Thirlwell’s probably the better artist. cevin key and reznor would surely be in it.
My supergroup would consist of Al Jourgensen, Jared Louche, Watts, Esch, cevin key, Reznor, Paul Barker, maybe justin broadrick on geeytar, and someone from throbbing gristle, sleazy preferably, but yea… lol
How about:
Vocals: Raymond Watts
Guitar: Eric Powell (16volt)
Bass: Charles Levi
Drums: Martin Atkins
Keyboards: Clint Mansell
Dave Ogilvie and Mark Thwaite (guitarist for Peter Murphy) are on board.
lol.
“Our latest conspirator is Erie Loch. He was the mastermind behind the industrial band Luxt and also Official Blownload. Erie is a studio whiz and some of his many remix credits include: Ministry, Revolting Cocks, Lords of Acid, TweakerMusic, Velvet Acid Christ, Caustic, Roughhausen, Ego Likeness and more! In addition, Erie also mastered tweaker’s “call the time eternity” on Metropolis Records!”

A bunch of unemployed has been burnouts that think they’re going to get together and become some powerhouse to usher in the new wave of Industrial . . . it’s like a really embarrassing ReMiXXX of the Blues Brothers’. I hope they get Donald Duck Dunn to join 'em.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!
Dude, it gets worse. They pretty much spam Facebook with random babble. Trying to sell you their merch and what not, yet they don’t even have an album out, or anything out!!
I’m still waiting for a preview of some sort, an mp3 snippet, SOMETHING. These guys blow. They better deliver, they kinda look like a joke right now.

i actually agree. it’s kind of sad and funny at the same time. i remember at the beginning they said they’ll reveal a member after every 1k likes on fb. lol, as if they’re going to get that many. there’s some talent in there, though.
I just flipped through their FB page. The updates were horribly and hilariously awful (mostly asking for Fundraiser donations and giving themselves Stuart Smalley type self-affirmations about reaching for the sky and achieving one’s dreams). As I was sitting there asking what retard was running the FB page I caught one update in which the poster claimed to have Cerebral Palsy. Now I’m staring at the ceiling and searching my soul to decide if this makes it less funny or more funny . . .
