It’s been a long time since a Pig track has gotten under my skin, but this one’s done it.
Are they any good live these days?..I saw them many moons ago opening for Pigface and I was underwhelmed…I ask because I saw they are playing down here at a local dive bar in July that I like to go to…ticket is cheap,might go for the fuck of it…
Just go. Raymond’s never been that good live but since he has sobered up…there’s a better chance he will sound good.
I saw PIG last year and they were amazing. One of the best industrial rock bands out there today.
This new PIG track is fantastic. Glad to see him go back to the heavier,grimey direction. The Gospel wasn’t my cup of tea at first, but really grew on me. This new track has me stoked for the EP.
I also saw them live last year on the tour cycle for the Gospel. They were very good live. Go see them if they are near you this summer.
I really dig The Gospel. It’s a lot more straight-forward than the other albums. Feels like an actual band. Pretty solid. Loving the new song as well. Feels a lot more “old school”. As for Live Pig. I’ve only seen videos, but they sounded pretty good. Good setlists too.

Watts himself sounds great here and in The Gospel but I cant get into the production.
The chintzy sounding drums that stimulate no reaction from the listener (for me at least), maddening considering this is industrial right? Just doesn’t have the complexity, and layers that Pig did so well.

Got to meet Raymond after the show and get my copy of Painiac signed. filthpig was there dead center and I threw my voice out as En Esch kept putting the mic up to me. I’ll pass on posting the setlist for anyone else that wants to attend, but they do play a lot of KMFDM.

i don’t know anything about PIG. I gather it’s kind of one guy. And I know a lot of musicians I like, respect him. but i know nothing.
I like the fact that Watts was a sound engineer for Einsturzende Neubauten in the 80s…
