Yeah, and as usual–I’ll believe it when I see it.
if any of you are friends with marc heal or cubanate on facebook you’d have seen that marc’s been working with raymond in the studio on some pig stuff for a while now. to quote marc “…But I have now finished a mix of the new Pig track, “Drugzilla”. I promise Pig fans that I will push him to get a version out ASAP, even if he tweaks it later. But the Lord moves in mysterious ways.”
Here’s a track Marc cobbled together in his spare time while working with Raymond: http://soundcloud.com/marc-heal/the-doll-rough-mix/s-BDyf5
Yeah waiting for PIG is like being an old-school nails fan you MIGHT get something every five years or so i just can’t believe he’s still doing things this way, trent can quite literally afford to do this, but PIG on the other hand…And as far as Ray ripping foetus have you actually listened to the foetus stuff he had put out just prior to ray joining? (crap…I have videos of ray playing with jim back then to if anyone wants a link just let me know) Also, listen to PIG’s '84 stuff (under kmfdm) he had the same style then. i love and respect foetus and could see the complaint that it’s kind of a watered down foetus… It’s just that raymond does it better
EDIT-I usually avoid having personal;things to say to most board members but all that by void ( I also read the apology) i feel the need for my two cents as someone who’s actually well informed on both pig and…manson. First off ray shut pig down in '04 to focus on being a father (for your deadbeat comment) ray’s worked with E.N. PTV etc in the early 80’s that alone giving him far more integrity than MM. Hell pig’s pointed out lilttle things like manson ripping off his ‘back-brace’ look, which pig actually needed on the ‘95 tour. sinsation record was under-promoted cause of Anti-Superstar coming out i wish they’d put a lil’ more effort into it. The only heavy-foetus sounding record was '91 praise the lard (Jim appeared on that one though). Also, look at the state of the music industry period everyone (mm included) is having trouble moving records. Lastly my personal opinion, if pig (ironically Jim too) had made better choices with labels they would wipe the floor with manson

Thanks…didn’t know about this one.
I’d hardly call Wrecked a watered-down Foetus album. And even though, Raymond hasn’t been doing Pig. That doesn’t mean he hasn’t been working. Infact, he’s done music for a fashion designer for the past few years, I think. So he’s not exactly sitting around and just doing nothing.
And even when he does infact release another Pig album, i’m not expecting a tour (which I can accept). One, because i’m sure he’s done with touring and rather work from home, and second, the last tour kinda crashed and burned.

THAT’S AN UNDERSTATEMENT! If only the old PIG site was still around I could dig up the details of what exactly happened. All I remember was people were’nt showing up to shows and that they couldn’t afford the tour bus and had to pile up in a van. PIG was shut down after that in '06. I remember I would’ve had to travel to LA from Suisun to see them. Suisun/Fairfield is the in between point of SF and Sacramento, so that would’ve been a 6-8 hour drive. They were going to be in SF the night before but the DNA Lounge was 21+ at the time and the tour ended before they could get to the west coast. And Raymond was touring on the highly underrated Pigmata too. Great album. From what I remember it was a decent setlist too. A nice chunk of Pigmata and a huge chunk of Wrecked along with other classics. Though he did skip A Poke In The Eye and Genuine American Monster. Fuck I hope he tours again. He just needs better management.
From what I understand, the manager who booked the tour didn’t really set up enough dates for it to be financially viable. Too few shows spread out over too much time is what ultimately killed it.

New song. I like it. Has the density and polish of his 90’s works with some modern flourishes (like the big Combichrist dance synths in the chorus) and the usual lyrical depravity we’d expect from Ray. C’mon, it’s not like any of us were expecting him to start singing loving odes to his family.
Awesome
I like the verses, but not so much the chorus.

Oh there were enough dates.
Booking agent fucked up and that was from personal experience dealing with her. I can go off on this but Raymond covered it great in Tour Smart:
Jesus man,
One thing I leart. Don’t work with an insane booking agent. Talk about a bat routing! We were in the same city as NIN three times and one or two days before/behind ministry! All the way to the east coast, if she’d done tiniest bit of research we would have started on the west coast and all would have been OK.
Can you believe that?
Anyway,
Hope all’'s good with you, Raymond
I remember at one point, they were letting people in for free (I think) if they showed up with their ticket stubs for NIN. That’s really what killed the tour.

That must’ve been something done by the club. I highly doubt that’s a Raymond move.
So in other news, Raymond doesn’t smoke or drink anymore and does his own tweets on twitter. He’s also been off heroin for years. Do you think not drinking and drugging will hinder his creativity? I haven’t heard the new song yet but I hope I don’t have to say get back on the drugs like we say about Al.
Think it did more to hinder his motivation than anything else, maybe both.
Hmmm, interesting. Well, as they say–timing is everything.
Always about the PIG. And reading through this thread, reminds me how much of a CUNT DickHead is. Burn in LA you FUCK…
