So disappointed. Can you please tell me why she wasn’t a black woman?

You have remember, this was in Boston. There really weren’t a lot of black women around.

If you think Boston was short of black women you should have seen Northern Ireland until about 2003. We lagged behind somewhat.
The posh, bayside suburbs of Melbourne, Australia weren’t exactly teaming with black people growing up in the 80’s either.
If I ever wanted to see black people, I’d turn on the tv and watch Different Strokes.
That was about it.
we tried to hail a cab on Dorchester Ave and were accosted by a gang of young, South Boston Irish thugs. .
You mean Ben Affleck types?
Eau Claire Wisconsin was also lacking in black women I fear.
From what I’ve been reading from Big Mama on the board, I think I’ve figured it out. Patty was a black woman but Al didn’t have sex with her, instead he poured champagne over Angie. Is that correct?

More like Mark Wahlberg.

Yeah man, and Benson too. I remember people in my town staring open-mouthed at the first black people to arrive in the late 80s-early 90s. Crazy, i felt so sorry for them being such a curiosity. But they soon seemed to be very popular, loads of people knew them, although possibly still as kinda curiosities. But yeah, Northern Ireland was just white white white, and a lot of scummy bastards would like it to stay that way even now.

Also, Al likes to oppress raccoons, women in crappy nu-metal bands, and women who wish they were in crappy nu-metal bands.
Once you go black…you never go back!

It ain’t right if you don’t go white.

Please refer to him as Batman from here on out…
Afra’s working on uploading it. Be patient. It’s worth it.
Afra just posted from Istanbul. I’ll bet he’s really working hard on this.
[reply]Can you throw out a couple teasers while you work through the issues?
I’ll throw you a couple. They’re not very interesting but they’re the best I have.
When Patty met Al, she lived in Dorchester, South Boston. One night after gathering at her place we tried to hail a cab on Dorchester Ave and were accosted by a gang of young, South Boston Irish thugs. Luckily a cab pulled up just in time and we made a getaway.
Patty, Al, Patty’s roommate and I all watched the final episode of MASH together at Patty’s apartment. When MASH was over, Patty and Al adjourned to Patty’s room. Rather than brave Dorchester Avenue alone…I did the only thing I could do and I took one for the team.[/reply]
Yes, good thing you decided to stay! I lived in Dorchester 22 years ago. Scary. Local pizza place had a signed “New Kids” poster on the wall. South Boston might be worse, though…House of Pain lived on my block (looked like them at least). Look at them and you’ll be running for your life!

Something happened with the move and he’s having to rewrite some code. But yes, he always has the best travel pictures.
