Well I’ve read some stories about what their lives were like in the early Ministry days and it was interesting stuff. I don’t really care about their relationship per se, but I’m sure she has some insight to what the band was like, how the music evolved, etc. Plus, I’ve always enjoyed the interviews everyone has done on this site.

Maybe they’re hoping Patty will have some really embarrassing old photos of Al? It’s the only thing I can think of.

It all seriousness, though, I certainly wouldn’t mind hearing more about Al’s fun times in Boston with Patty and the Blackouts.

I’ll throw you a couple. They’re not very interesting but they’re the best I have.

When Patty met Al, she lived in Dorchester, South Boston. One night after gathering at her place we tried to hail a cab on Dorchester Ave and were accosted by a gang of young, South Boston Irish thugs. Luckily a cab pulled up just in time and we made a getaway.

Patty, Al, Patty’s roommate and I all watched the final episode of MASH together at Patty’s apartment. When MASH was over, Patty and Al adjourned to Patty’s room. Rather than brave Dorchester Avenue alone…I did the only thing I could do and I took one for the team.
