Patty J

[reply]Afra just posted from Istanbul. I’ll bet he’s really working hard on this.

Something happened with the move and he’s having to rewrite some code. But yes, he always has the best travel pictures.[/reply]

I noticed that most of the interviews --bar the exclusive interviews and the ones hosted on other sites-- are down.

The move must have taken down the place they’re all loaded to as well. Probably jusy a link issue. If not, I have them all stored on my HD and physical copies of most. Once he’s back and we can address them, I’ll make sure they’re all cleaned up.

Anything else out there that has broken/dead links?

Ahem, I did work hard on it and it’s up there now pending approval from the one who gave it to me. He’ll link it and then we’ll link it on the main page.

The rest of the interviews will be going up in the next day or two. I’ve moved servers entirely - disposed of the old one it was run on for a few years and many sites were moved over. Once interviews are copied over, I think that would be it. I’ll make the announcement once done. I was doing this move throughout my trip actually in steps. Almost done. This forum was the first to move over.

thanks

Ditto, thanks a lot!

Interviews are back up - put them up last night.

Also, I want to introduce the Patty Jourgensen interview - thank you so much to both elrey96 and Bisquitodoom for making this happen, not to mention Patty. It is truly appreciated.

You legend afra. If you ever want to film someone eating your shit, I’ll kidnap voidhead and force him to eat 20 magic mushrooms and then make him do it.

Just for you.

pour vouz…

no, serious,
thanks dawg [:)]

I felt really sad reading that interview.

Sigh. Lurve.

I’m gonna go cut myself and listen to Joy Division.

But no, seriously. You can she really loves him. It’s sort of tragic that they had to leave each other for their own good.

Thanks to all involved!

I like this Patty J lady…

BTW, some of the questions are stuck in the middle of answers…

Damn. That’s a great interview.

I was blown away with how generous Patty was with her time. She fondly speaks of the Ministry camp and has no ill will at all.
She knows she was part of something amazing.

It did crack me up that Martin Atkins is the only name she drops as someone who was difficult to work with.
She is a very cool lady.

Great interview and I think she speaks for 99% of people here when she said… “I always thought of Ministry as smart music and his behavior now detracts from that. It’s a crime.”

PATTY (if you read this, or talk to someone who does): Thank you for a wonderful read. It is refreshing to hear from someone who is emotionally honest, yet has not apparent agenda or bone to pick with anyone. I think you have won some new fans with this interview or increased the love that others already had for you.

ELREY96: Thank you for asking intelligent and thoughtful questions that allowed Patty to give us some actual insight into her, her relationships, and the times and events she was part of. I was really nervous this was gonna be another, “WHAT’S UR FAVORITE ALBUM? DID U MEET JELLO? HOW COME ICYDFLSU ISNT ON BLU-RAY?” type of time waster, but it was really one of the best and most insightful pieces I’ve seen (especially considering the DIY nature of it) and I really enjoyed it.

AFRA/ BISQUITODOOM: Thanks as always for your work on this site and making all this possible.

Yeah. True.
I also agreed with her about the “put-on” aspect of his drunken redneck biker schtick.

Updated - I think it’s all there now in good format.

Thanks again elrey96

That’s a great interview, well done guys, a fantastic read. She’s very balanced when it would have been easy to talk a lot of shit and bitterness.

Truth.

I also wonder if it would have been harder for her to maintain the same measured stance if she had actually read the book.

I would say so, he was pretty vicious about her, but like she said maybe he has some lies he has to keep up.

I really liked that comment and it made total sense.
It made me feel kind of sympathetic for all parties involved.

Very enjoyable read. Glad to hear that Patty has remained well-grounded and unpretentious after all these years.

She was always a lot of fun to be around. Very level-headed even under the most ridiculous of circumstances.
