This is how you do a meet and greet.

That’s great…are you in the pic? I didnt do the meet and greet but I am stoked for the show 10 days from now…

I’m going on the 2nd, but not VIP.

No sir, i am not. i just thought it was a great picture. I’m going to the ATL show. Can’t wait.

I suppose I need to go ahead and buy my ticket…

So is the meet & greet with Ogre only, not the whole band? And no Paul?

There was another pic I saw that looked like the rest of Ohgr band was there…didn’t see Paul anywhere…doubt he is involved in that…his “meet and greet” will probably be at the merch table…

Hope so. Although I am sure Paul doesn’t remember me from the previous times we met I would like to say hi to him.[/reply]

I’m only basing that on the few pics I’ve seen but I could be wrong…but so far Paul hasn’t been in any of the pics( I’ve seen some from Ohgrs FB and some that friend sent me from one of the gigs)…I’m going next Saturday in West Palm Beach and will give a run down after the show…

Unless of course your show is before mine haha…I can’t remember where you live…

I’ll be at the September 15 show in Montreal!

Does ohGr have the Tricks CD/LP for sale on the tour? I preordered both on Pledge Music, and I never got them. I don’t think they’ve been shipped for anyone yet.

I was curious if the CD will be sold at the show as well

Slack is right, though.
For these small/smallish bands like OhGhr/ Skinny Puppy, there can’t be a super large group of people wanting to drop a big chunk of coin for a VIP package. And such bands are usually playing venues that aren’t exactly Fort Knox in terms of separating the band from the public (you can usually catch 'em milling around if you show up early or stay a bit late). So it can seem like a real waste if you drop $100-$200 extra and just get the same obligatory selfie-and-signature that everyone else gets just by seeing them in the bar.

But if they actually put together something meaningful and personal such as . . . . “small intimate group before or after the show, sharing a couple drinks and talking to Ohgr/band for 30 minutes” or something along those lines . . . yeah, that would really mean something to fans looking for a connection/moment that would mean something.

I lost most interest in Skinny Puppy and Ohgr 20+ years ago, but from what I’ve read/ heard, they still do a helluva show and Ogre is a real gent to all his fans.

i met ohgr at a horror convention once, just the nicest guy. He was sandwiched in between that dude with the mohawk from road warrior and i think the dude that played pinhead.

i explained to him how my cassette tape of “aint dead yet” was stuck in my car for 2 years and thats all i had to listen too. thank god it was a good album!

He played ColdWaves last year. The show was great!

That’s a nice sammich. I’d definitely be hitting up Pinhead and Wez from Road Warrior first, though.

I know this is totally off topic, but I had to comment. A couple of weeks ago, I found out that Wez, one of my favorite action movie baddies, was played by the dude who plays Bennett in Commando, another favorite action movie villain. MIND BLOWN.

“Come on Bennett… put away that chicken shit gun… you know you want to fight me…”

Also one of the baddies in Weird Science…

Got VIP for Coldwaves day 1 so, Ogre and Paul meet for sure. Can’t wait! Great guys.

Na, Ohgr was the right one for me to say hi to. Also talked to Danny Trejo for a minute.

350 person venue and it felt like 700 were in it! The a/c just could not keep up.

Ohgr was great; the sound was good. The stage was way to small, but he made it work.

IMO, OmniFlux and Paul could have been better sound-wise and performance-wise.
