I don’t know if such local station music video shows even exist anymore, but if they do, get it into their hands PRONTO. It’s way better than any local scene crap that I’ve ever seen pop up on those shows.
You should also send this video to 13th Planet. I’m serious. They’re doing a release party next weekend for DETHROK and (at least based on what I saw on YouTube) this is miles beyond that stuff. I’d way rather see Nursing Home open for Ministry on the next “Yeah Yeah, I know We Said We Weren’t Gonna Tour Anymore But F**k You” tour than Blackburner or Dethrok or Blownload or some other low-rent nonsense.

Trust me, I’m not saying it’s a long term end goal, and Burton and a handful of the others were already sort of established artists. I’m just saying that, it MIGHT be something to consider if an unknown artist is looking to get a channel in that will get him/her exposure to a wider audience. I used to buy ANYTHING that came out on the Alternative Tentacles lable. And there are a number of obsessed Jourgensen fans that will buy or at least check out ANYTHING that passes through the hallowed grounds of El Paso or Chicago or whatever dump Al calls home today.
My 13th Planet suggestion versus any other independent label (and I would suggest trying other independents also) was merely because I saw with their dubstep adventures that it seems they are TRYING a bit to catch the pulse of the kiddies today.
Getting in there wouldn’t be the rockstar paycheck that artists seek but would more be a “paying your dues” type of temporary situation where you get paid nothing and get treated like dog crap because the perceived benefits toward a larger goal are worth it. It might not be, of course. I’m just brainstormin’ here.

HAHAHA!!! Yeah, I know this ain’t the most friendly of grounds, but VOIDY’s never gone out of his way to bash Al, so I think his rap sheet is fairly clean.
Maybe he should hit up Gerda. She’s all connected and stuff.
In all honesty, this seems above and beyond anything Angie and Al have been a part of for a while. The video alone blows away every Ministry video since HOTM came out.
Also, he’s not making generic industrial thrash metal. I’d rather listen to this than anything Ministry has put out post 2003.
Like I said Voidhead, the music may not be my thing (maybe I need to give it more time and another chance), but I do believe you are above anything Al is a part of right now. Plus, he’d likely take credit for everything you’ve done as well as the money. He seems like a downer and in bad shape as well.
I say the most important part is to get a strong fan base going. Labels are dead/dying. Indie labels are still out their but it’s easier to release your own stuff. Garner a following and you’ll do well (easier said than done, I know). Don’t spam websites but promote your music as much as possible. Play shows and make them unique and make sure everyone sees you are giving it %110. Release an EP with your best tracks.
Also, don’t forget that this is supposed to be fun. Getting attention from some people within the industry doesn’t mean shit if you end up hating it later on. Just have a good time, let people know your music exists, and go from there.

Regarding 13th planet, I’m going to go after everyone I can with this thing. Opening for Ministry would be a dream come true albeit I know it’s not the same as it would have been even 10 years ago.

If not, it just seems kind of out of place and annoying (like they made you promise they’d get a face shot or something). I’m curious, mostly because I think, otherwise it’s a perfect video. Anyway, just wondering . . .

Nice one Void! It seems you’re working hard in your music and it shows.
I think all songs have nice elements but there are parts that aren’t my thing and ruin the song for me. The exception is the track Carousel, I enjoyed that one. But it’s just a question of taste.
They are well constructed and executed and there’s space to improve and to gain an identity.
