Song names sound fairly crap but its ok once there is no A Perfect Circle influence on the album. Still cant wait for it. Any word on a tour?

No. Or if they were, it hasn’t reared its ugly head. There was a listening party here in Australia recently. No one present, who posted their initial reactions, has so far mentioned such an influence. In fact most have said it’s Lateralus Pt 2 with a more refined, commercial feel to it.

But then again, one track supposedly features a gong, so I haven’t completely given up hope.

Gongs rule.

i think everyone should just shut the fuck up and not pay any attention to any of this. no one knew the tracklist to lateralus until about 2 weeks before it was released (the original april slot, that is).

I only posted this because this is the tracklisting that appears on THE OFFICIAL TOOL WEBSITE wiseacre!!! Sheeeeesh, touchy touchy. Don’t blame me if it’s a joke - but why would a band post a joke tracklist on their official site?!?

And who the fuck are you to tell everyone to shut the fuck up about the new Tool album? What are you, their publicist or something? Are you somehow affiliated with the band?!?!? Didn’t think so.

They would post a fake track listing so that you would waste your time trying to download it off soulseek or whatever file sharing service you have. Tool are notoriously anti-filesharing (see Maynard’s comment of “Download our cd at www.suckmyass.com.”)

Also, ANYTHING that is posted on their offical site on April 1st is a JOKE. Like last year’s “Maynard has found Jesus and left the band!” It was horrible, people actually fell for that. In regards to Tool, don’t believe anything you see until about 2 weeks before the CD comes out.
