It’s on Ministry’s Bandcamp now.
I like the spooky intro in the Ministry version, but then it devolves into cock rock. Peter Hook’s version is better.

Same here. It isn’t a great song either. Not sure why this is a thing. Is there any significance to this release? Just seems out of the blue.
The vinyl looks neat though. I’m a big Joy Division/New Order fan as well, I might pick it up for the collection.
I totally agree. This release makes no sense at all. What always drives me nuts about Cleopatra is that their releases lack any promotion or details on how it came about. Their packaging remains top notch and always has been.
I am sure Al has a contract to contribute so many songs or remixes annually for his contract.

Weren’t buying a lot of Cleo releases in the '90s, huh?

In the 90’s Cleo’s packaging was always better than their contemporaries (Reconstriction, 21st Circuitry, etc), speaking purely from the production standpoint. Cleo almost always had the clear jewel cases with clear legible artwork.
Cleo’s contemporaries had cheap jewel cases, low resolution art, crappy card stock, etc.
Artwork is up to the consumer, but I would agree that the artwork was cheap and half-assed. But then again, back then what indie label wasn’t cutting corners on this stuff? Starting around 1995 or so, Cleo always seemed to be trying to make their product pop off of the shelf regardless of if the cover art was crap. Die Krupps, FLA, FLA side projects, Download, to name a few had some good artwork.

Oh right, those holo style sleeves that changed images when you moved them. I used to have those. Yes, a good example of a well crafted sleeve/case from Cleo.
21st Circuitry’s releases were alright. Reconstriction’s were unpresentable, it’s true.

Amen!
I’m also surprised Al hasn’t re-recorded “With Sympathy” to demonstrate to the world how he thought it should sound. It would definitely generate a buzz and some interest.
I’d buy a copy.
so can anyone tell me where the hell the bass went on land of rape and honey?
also, don’t you think it funny how Al got ohgr back in to redo his vocals on smothered hope for the b-side release? considering his efforts to erase the other guys from history. i like both vocal takes, btw.
Smothered Hope as a B-side predates this. It was the recording from Chicago 88 and was released on the Burning Inside 12" before the In Case release.

ah, shit, i really thought it was the same gig. was going to dig out the cd to check the liner notes, but figured they’d be wrong anyway. heh.
Who is singing the Pailhead songs? Certainly doesn’t sound like Al or Chris. Is it Ogre? I’m not impressed but because I like Ian’s vocals so much I can’t really decide if the vocals really are bad or just doesn’t sound right. other than that this is a fantastic release.
Given that touring line up, I have to imagine it’s Joe Kelly. It’s really the only possibility.

Yep.
Do you think there’s really demand for 1000 more of these already? I’d guess most of the hardcore fans bought the white one back when we assumed it would be the only version.
It must be selling pretty well then.
So there’s now red, blue and black, in case you had only seen the white one. [:P]

Some collectors will buy every colored version.
Is this available on CD?
(Sorry if this info is buried in the last 4 months of comments as I only now realized that I NEED this album, hahaha).
It has LIVE LARD!!!
