I like this surprise release thing:
But that new song though. . .oof.

I really like the new song! I’m excited for the rest of the EP.
Ordered it but didn’t listen yet…
Need more listens but it sounds better than anything off the first ep back in Dec…
Less Than sounds like some geeky kids 16 bit themed soundcloud with some guitars thrown in for good measure… how inovative. Think I’ll pass, on this song at least.
When it breaks into the chorus it sounds almost exactly like something I have heard before but I can’t put my finger on it.
Musically the chorus reminds me of March of the Pigs. Maybe that’s what you’re thinking of?
It’s typical paint-by-numbers NIN. A [url https://youtu.be/4xg-Wk2DEXs]“Trent Reznor” song for sure.

Either way, it isn’t very interesting to me. It sounds like DIY music but I only like DIY concerts.
Reminded me a lot of Echoplex.
Another song’s been posted.

another good one…
Whole thing’s out now.
Whole thing’s out now.
A day early.
That Trent Reznor is OK in my book!
I’ve heard 3 of the tracks so far. Great stuff. I can already tell “Add Violence” is going to blow “Not the Actual Events” out of the water.
Which one of these has that track they played on Twin Peaks?

Not The Actual Events.
Which I must say, I prefer to Add Violence (so far - I’ve only listened twice).
Ok thanks…Not the hugest NIN fan but I really liked that track from TP.
Still have not heard anything by the man that has topped The Fragile…

And nothing ever will. Definitely one of the best albums I’ve ever heard by any artist.

And the Fragility Tour that supported the album was very good too! The DVD release of that tour “And All That Could Have Been…” was ahead of its time in terms of using footage from fan-held cameras.
I actually like Year Zero better than The Fragile!
Haven’t heard their last few albums though, and kinda scared to. I feel safer giving new Ministry a try over new NIN anyday though.
