L-R Pothier, Roberts, Earl Letiecq of The Effigies singing ‘Effigy’, Uncle Al (Note the 2 4-track reel-to-reel decks, one for backup, that provided the backing tracks.)
L-R Not sure who the girl singer all the way on the left is but the second singer is Shay Jones, Mark Pothier, Al, Robert Roberts, Stevo George (drums) and Brad Hallen taking a turn at keyboards.
ditto, the “never seen patty”, as far as “cute” can’t really tell cause we can’t see her face. she has a pretty decent body from what we can see of her though…

Late,
grmpysmrf[/reply] Isn’t Patty on the front cover of the ‘Nature Of Love Single’? Thanks wempathy, these are the best live shots of early Ministry I’ve ever seen.
Patty always looked great. She’s a tall slender graceful Irish lass IIRC. A nice person as well.
Also…Stevo tells me the other singer in the pic next to Shay is Shawn Christopher who sang with Chaka Khan & TKK and is still in demand as a session singer to this day.
Very beautiful smile!
thanks for the additional pic!
do you keep up with her still? how is she doing? What does she do now? what did she do before? was she involved with the band or just Al’s trophy wife?

Haven’t seen or spoken with Patty since Adrian was little. Cate & I ran into them in Chicago at the wedding of a common friend. Al was out of town or something. Probably 20 years ago.
Patty was the manager of the Blackouts when I first met her. She and Al were seeing each other but she still had her own place. She didn’t have anything to do with the band when I was still in it. She spent a lot of time on the road with us in '83 and was always smart, gracious and totally cool.
I really don’t know much about what was happening with the band in 84 and beyond.
Speaking of Stevo, wempathy, last I talked to him he was booking a flight and said he was wanting to discuss a lot of things for the site but he had a flight to catch. I don’t like to bug people…since he’s in demand, and since he said he’s still interested, should I still get in touch with him down the line?
