Check these out…pretty cool. There’s a newly discovered track call “Funkamental” and interesting takes on I’m Falling, Overkill and Cold Life. Any info on these Wemp?
Got a call from an old friend, Leroy, who coincidentally used to work at Wax Trax!. His old roommate, Paul, used to roadie for us occasionally. Leroy found an old box of stuff of Paul’s and in it was a cassette marked “Ministry - Misfits - '82”. Leroy and I got together at the Morrissey show last month and he gave me a dub.
Nice recording. Seems like instead of the usual FOH mixer feed, this recording used a pair of mics located someplace in the venue. Some crowd chatter which adds some realism. As far as I know, it’s the earliest live recording of the band.

???
[li]Ministry opened for Medium Medium at this show. Medium Medium’s gear was trashed on the first date of their tour, so they had to use Ministry’s at the shows they played together. [/li]
best ministry news i have seen in a while. this is great, thanks a lot for sharing!! the 4 tracks made me want the whole thing, of course, if not in any lossless format, then at least high quality mp3. i mean, youtube is great and all that, but videos related to many artists tend to disappear.
Sweet way to kick off an otherwise shitty morning!! Thanks a million, Wemp!!
So…I think it’s safe to nominate the the best “new” Ministry song of 2012 (Funkamental). Don’t worry about the fact that it’s a 30-year old rarity and not something from “Relapse”.
