A lot of this info is erroneous, so try to update your list to reflect it if at all possible (consult the Tour section on this site, for example – we’ve done your homework, if you need to fill in gaps).

  • I have no idea what the tracks “Let’s Be Happy” and “The Game Is Over” are, so if you can bring more light to where you got these from, I could help.
  • “Same Old Scene” may or may not exist. If so, no one has it - yet.
  • The vocal version of “Abortive” was only on the Twitch tour - you can find it out there, though the audio is usually rough.
  • “Tailor Made” is a song by Pigface, vocals by Paul Barker. Buy the “Gub” album if you want it, it’s there. Or, one of the many shitty live MP3’s of them performing are on iTunes. You could probably get a live version of that, from there.
  • “Chipped Beef” is by the Blackouts, whom also performed at this show w/Ministry.
  • “Wait” is an unreleased studio cut that was on this site as a free download in the past.
  • The version of “Time to Melt” is most likely cut, somewhere near the 20-min mark if I remember right. Too bad.
  • The alt/studio versions of “I’m Falling” and “Overkill” are both on Early Trax. Get it in stores.

I think you just proved what he was saying.

“Time to Melt” (as found on “Power of Lard” EP) is an approximately 30 minute song. So, 14:54 would be shorter than the original.

Whether the last poster meant “cut” as it “cut off” (i.e. a partial song that got chopped and is missing the rest, even though it was played in its entirety), or “cut short” (the song was shortened for its live performance) is unclear though.

I’ll let either of you clarify.

Glad to see another early rarities enthusiast. I’m still hopeful that Same Old Scene will pop up some day. As a big Roxy Music fan, that’s sort of my Ministry holy grail.

Second list looks good too. What other bands are you looking for? I’m sure people would be willing to share out their goodies too (that’s been my experience on the board), and someone must have that Razormaid mix of We Shall Cleanse the World. I know that’s floating around the internet somewhere…

EDIT: Oh, and tell me more about the TKK demos. I’m intrigued!

The TKK demos are probably mostly legit releases sold to the TKK fan club. Groovie’s only put out maybe five or so releases in the past 20 years, however. Most of them are audio cassettes.

As for “Time to Melt”…well…the tape just ended abruptly. Hate when that happens.

The TKK Demos were demos from the I See Good Spirits I See Bad Spirits album. NOthing amazing, but some were a bit different from the album versions. AFAIK, these were first circulated on Napster (remember that?) back when it was still around. The only versions I’ve ever been able to find are either 96K mp3s or sourced from 96K mp3s, so the sound terrible. If anyone has better versions, I’d love to hear them.
