They say it was a visa issue. Don’t care, I’ll take Helmet over KMFDM any time.
I haven’t seen Helmet so I guess that’s a plus. I only know unsung…what other tunes are as good?

Sin is still in the band?
Not only is Helmet one of the best and tightest bands I’ve ever seen (and I’ve seen them at least five times, always in a headlining capacity), but their catalog is chock full of solid albums. Check out the following songs:

I saw this. I’m bummed that KMFDM aren’t going to be there. I don’t listen to helmet. I got my money back on my last tickets. Man, I’ve got a bad feeling about this second attempt. But shit, I love the MIATTTT album - it’s my favorite, but I’m wondering if they’re playing it beginning to end?
KMFDM is kind of ho-hum now anyway. A bummer, but since Steve and Jules left, it doesn’t feel the same. Steve went back to PIG. Last time I saw KMFDM, Ohgr blew them off the stage.

Whenever they tour for or give tribute to a past album or era (or even a new one for that matter) they just pull a few songs to play. I suspect that, in addition to “So What” and “Thieves” which are standard guarantees, they’ll give us “Breathe” and “Burning Inside”… maybe. I’m not fretting over any details, to be honest. At this point, I’m just happy for the chance to drink overpriced beer with my homies and watch Al and the crew go through the motions. But I do think this tour is gonna be amazing regardless.
I was looking forward to KMFDM. I’ve never seen them live…
