I’d definitely rather see voidhead’s band than any band I have EVER seen open for Ministry.
Any band that is even remotely entertaining would be better than Ministry’s support bands. Some of the worst bands i’ve ever seen have supported Ministry, especially Take A Worm For A Walk Week, who were the biggest bunch of cunts i have ever seen on a stage. I went looking for something to say “Hey, look how awful they are, hahaha”, but of course the first one i clicked is actually pretty good. Sounds a bit like something off Remission by Mastodon. I can say that it doesn’t translate to their live show, the singer is the most punchable buffoon i have ever had the misfortune of seeing, i’m amazed he made it out of the venue alive after their set.

Good grief!
Can you post the link for tickets?
$70?
Seriously? HAHAHAHAHA!!!
Question of the day: Can Ministry sell out these venues at these prices? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a show at Irving Plaza that cost me more than $40… even after fees, etc.
I don’t see them selling out these venues at these prices. I think enough people will go as they’ll all be on board with the same “this REALLY is the last time” line, but I don’t see such venues selling out. No way.
While it’s kinda cool to see there’s an SF date this time around, I will not pay $60 to see From Beer To Eternity in it’s entirety plus the other “classics” from the last decade.
As for crappy openers, Hemlock says hello…
I hope it is Hemlock.
I’ll buy that dude a beer any day.
Opening bands are gonna suck anyway, so may as well give a shot to some cats that deserve it.

Could someone put me in touch with Al’s dealer???
I’m trying to relapse !!!
(Starfuckers du nu nu du duuu nu nu nu nu nuuuu)
…
It’s a rub really, I get it, you don’t do a multi-city tour and the demand for you gets bigger, forget about the fact that you reunited - see Smashing Pumpkins. The difference is two years does not a reunion make, no one wanted Ministry back - just Scaccia (in print, we know it was Al).
What pissed me off was it wasn’t like it was a goddamn laser Floyd show, it was a rock show. Why $50 last time? Because they aren’t on a major? Ok cool, got it, so why $70-80 this time? You’d be better off supporting a more hungry, unknown or semi-known act of same caliber…
…I mean why is the Skinny Puppy tour cheaper? And the label’s not even funding it…

For $50, we were pressed up front for King Diamond . . . he had a full multi-layered staget set up like some friggin’ gothic castle with stairs and catwalks and such, and giant, lighted, pulsating upside-down crosses and pentagrams, and he had Grandma in a wheelchair and they put her in a coffin and lit it on fire.
And that was just what I was able to remember.
Damn.
After all the stupid fees it cost me almost $90 for the Anaheim show.
These are some rapey ass tickets.

None worse than pit bull daycare. Hemlock was cool cause the main guy was super nice. Nothing redeeming for PBDC

You mean you waited this long and first class tickets are still available? Lucky.

Yeah, kind of tells you something.
I remembered yesterday about the pre-sale and it was already closed. I was afraid I’d missed my shot (and figured I’d be doing some wall jumping again).
General Sale went on today at noon but I was busy with my wife. I think I finally got online around 1:30pm and pit tickets were still available.
Phew! You were cutting it close!
