The dude interviewing him kept “jokingly” mentioning if he was sure he wasn’t on drugs. But I think it was one of those times where you’re like, “Haha, man you sure you’re not on anything else? Haha, just kidding! You’re totally not on drugs! Or are you? Haha, just kidding again! Hahaha… Ooohhh, man. Good times! No, but seriously, dude. Are you high?”

It’s not worth it unless you’re like me and only want to hear how fucked up he is. He manages to speak but say absolutely nothing in almost 11 minutes.
I’m not trying to draw conclusion or make assumptions but he sounds exactly like I have and how people around me have sounded when drunk and on benzos. Hope he isn’t on that train.
That was sad. Mancow was clearly trying salvage Al for the show. Al has another trip to rehab in his future. Get help man.

I dunno… He was pretty bad off before Mikey came back. I’m sure it doesn’t help. But, it’s not like he wasn’t drinking excessively beforehand. But yeah, the guy needs rehab.

Pretty sure Al ran into the “harder stuff” before any of this. I’m pretty sure he ran into it years and years ago.
Mikey, in the last 3 years was Al’s anchor and foundation. All the crap that he was doing (whether or not y’all like it) was grounded in and built on Mikey. Additionally, they were LONG TIME friends (over 25 years) and as close as brothers. They’ve not just toured, recorded, and played together. They’ve lived together multiple times. Mikey was the reason Al started doing stuff again, and Mikey was the reason Al COULD do stuff again. No, Al wasn’t completely together and he sure wasn’t clean and sober, but at least he had HOPE and he really was proud of the stuff that they were doing together.
After Angie, Mike was probably the closest “family” that Al had. When he lost that, it was only natural that the guy lost some focus, direction, and meaning.
I really hope and pray that Al gets into something positive and constructive and gets shining again. But it’s hard and he’s got plenty of self-built obstacles in his way.
^ Well, if that’s the case at his age and what he’s been through it just isn’t very likely his body can take this sort of stress and abuse. Hopefully I’m wrong.
I may hate his shit music and what he’s done to the “Ministry” name but I’d hate for him to be another cliche or rock and roll statistic (dead… for the layperson).
After seeing his wife try, and successfully, lure him onto a tour bus with a bottle of wine in that youtube video… damn, I really hope he has better support than that.
