I hate to bring this thread back, but does anyone know who opened the SF show? My friend is swearing up and down the Melvins opened the show, I highly doubt that would’ve happened in the heyday unless it was some festival gig, and we’re at a bit of a stalemate since neither one of us went to the show.

Don’t know for sure, but I highly doubt it. It would have been discussed here. That would have been big news.

Most dates had some goobers called AVATAR, and SIXXIS opening.
We had SIXXIS at Vegas (which was a better show than Anaheim, I should note) during which I drank beer and played slots outside, and were very fortunate to have NO opener at Anaheim.
The only gigs (other than festivals) with significant co-acts or openers were the LAIBACH ones.
I do know, probably, why there was a confusion about the Melvins and Ministry . . . . there was an article that someone posted (in FB) that was noting that both Ministry and Melvins were on tour and doing shows in such-and-such cities.
They were on separate tours playing separate shows, but the articles were written sloppy and the headlines kind of suggestive that, if you didn’t take the time to dissect it (I fell victim on first look) it SEEMED like the two bands were playing together.
