Ministry and Nin...

That clip kicks ass and thought it would be cool to give attention to. On a side note, what games are your favorites?

ministry in a N64 commercial?! how the world has changed.

…and what does nin have to do with anything? lol.

Nin…tendo [;)]

There was a Ministry song in a video game ad around the A.I. period, too. I think it was a motorcross game.

i phail.

if we’re talking games…i’m an avid WoW player!

Troll Mage chea chea

Currently going through Skyrim and anything else cheap for 360, btw.

I wanted to try Skyrim but it’s kind of trashed on the PS3. Also I’d really like to try Star Wars: The Old Republic, it kind of seems like WoW (which always seemed interesting to me) but Star Warsy!

Some of my favourite games that I’ve been playing a bit of recently…

Whip Rush, Thunder Force 4, Probotector, Super Smash TV - Sega Mega Drive

Life Force Salamander - NES

Sonic 2 - Sega Master System

Godlike Pudding has the superior games.

Dungeon Crawl’s been my nonsense lately. I’m thinking about giving ADoM a spin, too.

Dying to play the new Assassin’s Creed. (Think I got it for Xmas)…

Also can’t wait for Metal Gear Rising… even though I am not holding out too much hope for it, as it’s not the same type of action…

My son has me playing lots of Wii games with him these days. Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., Super Mario All Stars, (see a pattern forming here…) Silly kids and their Mario.

I’ll probably be playing Skyrim 'til springtime.

Metal Gear Rising scares me a bit. It was cancelled, then handed-over to the guys who did Bayonetta. So, I’m very skeptical on that one.

Battlefield 3 multiplayer
Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer
Sports games (NHL, FIFA, etc)
And I occasionally play Mafia 2 and Final Fantasy XIII (very, very slowly).

i liked their “play it loud” campaign with the butthole surfers for the snes era. they used clips from who was in my room last night and dust devil.

if i recall correctly, parents wrote in complaining about the bands name, and they were dropped.

HAHAHAHA!!! That’s hilarious. They even bleeped out “Hell” in the commercial, and they never say the name of the band or show it even. I can just imagine how much research some prude had to go through to finally find a reason to be offended . . . . or maybe they liked the song and asked who it was. OHMYGOD!!! THEY JUST SAID BUTTHOLE!!!

I remember back in high school when my mom (unsuccessfully) was trying to have a serious talk with me because she was worried about my anti-social behaviour and some of my antics. I think she saw it on one of the stickers I’d put on my folders or something, but she was telling me how I shouldn’t be so arrogant and spiteful toward everyone and how “not everyone is a butthole surfer”. I can’t remember her exact usage, but I remember it was absolutely hilarious.

I’ve got one of these set up in my studio area.

That’s pretty much all the gaming I do. Bought some wireless XBox controllers to play old school games on emulators, but the thieves got those along with the TV…

Oh, MAN!!! I gotta make a road trip to your place, Bro! I LOVE VECTREX!!!

Just don’t lose the screens, hahaha!!!

All I’ve got is the built-in game with one controller actually. Got it at a thrift store in good working order for $5.95. I’ve been meaning to pick up some more cartridges at some point. I think there is somebody out there that sells a Vectrex cartridge that has all of the games on ONE cartridge. I DO have a bunch of Atari 2600 games, though.

Buddy of mine up in Chicago has two Vectrexes, with pretty much all of the games with all the screen overlays AND the original boxes.

I’ve never really got to try any of those obscure gaming systems. The closest I’ve got was handling an intelivision that was lacking the connections. My parents got an NES in our house before i was even born so that was there for my disposal. I’ve always been a big Nintendo fan. Instead of seeing their games as for a younger audience, i always saw them as more trippy. There are more than enough odd things that stand out in them that cut though all the bulbous characters. Also Resident Evil used to be so rad before they westernized that game to shit.

Anyone every pay attention to games scores? Chris Vrenna did great for Alice as did Trent for Quake.

[shocked]

I recently splurged on video games.

Been playing MW3 and some shit called Catherine, havent played that one yet, still in the wrapper looks cool though. Also picked up the new King of Fighters. Was gonna give it to my bro for Christmas cause he loves SNK, but couldn’t help myself and said fuck it so I started playing it, so its mine now :D. SUCKER!
