Ministry and Nin...

Catherine looks kinda interesting…

I liked it. It just gets insanely difficult. Next playthrough, I’ll be a total douche bag. I was a “good guy”. A lot of things I could’ve done differently.

haha I heard it was difficult. We’ll see how it goes, I’ll play it tonight.

catherine = sexy qbert

Never played qbert, but I heard about similarities. Took off work today and ended up screaming at my screen while playing Battlefield 3.

Yeah, seriously!

What the @!#?@! is up with that @#$%$*!!!

I have the Q*bert atari 2600 cartridge!!

the arcade version was what made me want it for the Atari.

Diggin it so far. Only played through 3 stages. I’m answering every text and every question like a complete asshole hahah! Don’t know if that will effect the difficulty later on but so what, fuck it right :D.

i liked the mechanical thump arm the cabinets had. it really hit home that you had killed the little bastard.

Qbert was badass, but I didn’t play it very often because I kinda sucked at it. I’d burn most of my quarters on Moon Patrol, Tempest, and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. I know I played a million other games, but I played the crap out of those ones.

Mr. Do & Tempest rocked!

I’m gonna have to look up Mr. Do to remember it. It was kind of a variant of Dig Dug if I recall, but I don’t know what was different about it. I played a lot of Dig Dug too. About 10 years ago there was an arcade in Orange County called “The Reagan Years” and it had nothing but fully restored and functional classic 80’s arcade games. It was an amazing place.

Yep, that’s the one. It’s like Dig Dug but you don’t get the backpack and zapper thing that inflates the bad guys. Mr. Do seems to be a faster paced game, though.

A few others that I’m now remembering being obsessed with . . . .

Smash TV (and later, Total Carnage)
Life Force
Toobin’
Gondomania
Kickers, Inc.
Karate Champ
Kung Fu Master
Operation Wolf
Road Blasters
Double Dragon

Tron for the Win!!

BattleZone . . . . you looked through a little scope/goggles thing and blew the crap out of vector-graphic tanks while totally badass sounds of missles and explosions went off, right? If so, that was a badass game too. SUPER HARD to play, but pretty bitchin!

MISSILE. COMMAND. OWNS.

Defender was the best…Stargate too.
