I went to a Cult concert back in the mid 90’s.
One of the most pitiful performances by a major label act I have ever witnessed. Even Hole, who were opening, were more impressive.
At one point, during the Cult’s show, somebody in the crowd coughed - and everybody heard it. That gives you an indication of how quiet the audience were.
HAHA!!! I’ve never seen 'em live, but I have heard mixed reviews and similar reports as yours. They seem to be pretty hit or miss. Probably all went down hill when he cut his hair.
Are you talking about Pink Floyd after Syd Barrett? Or Pink Floyd after Roger Waters?

Not getting the FNM reference though. Are you saying you are against their reunion? Let me tell ya, I saw them live 3 years ago and it has been the best show I have ever seen. It was like they never broke up, or got out of shape…if you’re bored, the show I saw is here:

You do realize Mike Patton was not their first singer and they had a minor hit (“We Care A Lot”) with the original guy several years before “The Real Thing” came out, right?
