Yeah but the song Born Villain sounds completely different from No Reflection. I have a feeling it’s gonna be a mixed bag on this one. No Reflection doesn’t get me all that excited but it’s a single. A lot of Manson’s singles are shitty either right away or they don’t stand the test of time. I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s sick of Sweet Dreams, The Beautiful People or any of the singles off of Mechanical Animals or Holywood.

I can never get tired of the beautiful people. That song is fucking infectious!!! as a matter of fact that beautiful riff has started in my head right now.
sweet dreams isn’t quite as good as beautiful people and I dare say the video still holds up better than song but the song is still certainly good.

Wasn’t that on Remix & Repent? I do remember there was a remix called The Not-So Beautiful People that was on another single. Some of his more recent work probably could’ve benifitted from being remixed. And no, that bonus acoustic EP on The High End Of Low doesn’t count.
