Going to see Tool at MSG. Never seen them and I really need to get into them. If nothing else but for the drummer. He’s one of the best!
My friend also mentioned King Gizzard (August 2024). Any fans of them here?

I’ve seen Tool several times, both in clubs and in stadiums. They don’t disappoint. I don’t think they know how.
King Gizzard is amazing but the level of output is nauseatingly prolific. If you can get ahold of it, find their album Live At Red Rocks – it’s incredibly long (three 3-hr sets) but it covers pretty much all of the highlights…

Saw The Church (second time this year)… good show. No overdosing dipshit like last time. Caught Cold Cave last week (Al’s daughter running right past me, with 4 cans of Rainer (I swear her dude is a fucking lush!)
Was … alright. I felt like there was a lot of miming (from all “bands”).
Going to the Geddy Lee book thing at the Beacon Theater in November.
