Live Concerts - Just Seen and Coming Up

I thought I read Primus was touring with Coohed and Cambria(or however you spell that bands name)…is that date with Puscifer a special gig or something?

Only 3 dates. Its for Maynard’s 60th birthday thing.

It’s more than 3 dates. A Perfect Circle, Puscifer and Primus all on stage together. In honor of Maynard’s 60th. I went to his 50th, which was 2 nights only at the Greek here in LA. It was APC, Puscifer and Failure. Great show.

Yeah, we went on opposite nights. I remember talking about it. You going to be at the Bowl?

I will be there as well!

I didn’t see that record - this show is my wife’s thing, really.

What’s with “big name” artists skipping WA?!!

Ministry has been the only on(recently) that hits seattle, every tour. And I miss it (for one or many reasons).

And then most of the people I know are too “responsible” or just not big music fans.

If I could do over (something I’ve never said)… I’d get my license a lot sooner. I’ve missed so many Fucking shows because “mom doesn’t want me going to Seattle. Afraid I’ll catch Covid”

Or “I’ve work tomorrow.” Yeah? This isn’t a fucking film. It’s a tour. And could be the last time.

Not a “concert” but I’m catching John Waters today(tonight). Slept on buying a ticket. But I’ll be doing security. So… might get to make contact.

2024

So far:
Small Black, Nite
Ministry, Gary Numan, Frontline Assembly

Coming up:
All Them Witches
Mersiv, Ott
Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper, Ministry, Filter

Got to see Ministry/FLA/Numan in Columbus last month. Fantastic shows from all three. Wish I did the Meet and Greet package. Been seeing tons of pictures of people with Al, and he’s been signing tons of items (including With Sympathy!)

Slash on the 13th

I’ve got tix for the Brooklyn Show. I had to shell out for double the amount of a floor seat for VIP balcony access. I’ve seen the Lizard – I don’t want to be anywhere on that floor when Yow comes out, no matter how old he’s gotten…

Haven’t seen them for many years but loved them so much back in the 2000s whenever they played

When I saw them the stage was so small and there are so many of them in the band,it was kind of comical… probably only 150 people there but you could tell they would put on the same performance if 10,000 were there or only 10…great gig…

I bought two tickets to see Zeal & Ardor at (le) poisson rouge here in NYC. Late September. They are an amazing band live. (They basically sound like Living Colour gone avant-garde black metal. Ironically, the last time I saw them play, they came off as really evil and aggressive… until the between-song banter, during which the singer, Manuel Gagnieux, was grinning from ear to ear and saying things like, “Gosh! You GUYS! I can’t believe you’re all here! I’m so happy right now!” His enthusiasm was really infectious.)
