i already stated who i voted for–“that one”. voted a straight ticket, which i normally don’t do, but wtf. how many of you have gotten your asses out there? this shit is important.
i got this euro oldschool edge to me that won’t quit.
let’s get a tally.
who’s voted, and when you going?
don’t care if you voted for woody woodpecker, as long as you took the time.
(gotta teach my kids SOMETHING)
Tomorrow a.m. I do it. Got one of my yoga classes covered so I can make it down. I thought about pre-voting but I enjoy the election day vibe at the polling houses.
I’m all for Obama, Al Frankin (we get a mid-level celebrity candidate in MN) and Keith Ellison so I’m demming it out this year.
right on, green death.
we know afra’s voted too( early, in chicago). me too. not in my homeyland(chicago). ah yes. my first vote was posted at the age of eighteen in the 1976 election–chicago.
the rest of you (i will refrain from getting into the normal cliches–motherfuckers, dumbasses, wimps) will feel the wrath of the ed.if you don’t vote.
“I am special ed. And i approve this message.”
[email]
Do you vote in advance just to not have to wait as long
in line? Are the lines that bad on election day?
normally, the lines are not bad at all., but b/c of my schedule i vote early.i wanted to wait this time . simply, for the drama of the thing. and then i saw the lines crisscrossing, and i thought, this is going to be such a bloodbath.
and i have a meeting on tuesday at 11, so i couldn’t do the deed on the day.
I live in LA right now but I did the absentee ballot back in Minnesota since it’s far more of a swing state than California. I voted for Obama. And Al Franken too as Norm Coleman is a total sleeze bag.
senor revok. you’ve been added to the tally.
let’s keep going, people.
what about you, senor fish or senor biscuit or senor jizzwad, or (egads) senor pelligro?
let’s get the…uh…numbers…up.
back to utter relentless stupidity AFTER tuesday.
do it up. man.
“this is Special Ed and i support this message.”
(what about you icepick?)
Tomorrow in the AM, I cast my first ballot ever for “that one.”
senor icepick. right on.
going Obama/Franken/Walz. Minnesota’s 1st district.
i’m bowing down to the brethen now.
keep ‘em comin’.
senor icepick, you be doin’ the right thing.
(in the event we shall ever meet, I WILL bow–maybe curtesy–dammit. why am i so fucking gay.)
Voted last week. Waited in line for about 30 minutes or so. Not too bad. Voted straight Libertarian, as always.
right on, man.
( i feel an urge to come over there and slap you. but right on dude.
thanks)
icepick. when the polls are closed, no matter
deal, what, we’ll have a stupid chat.deal?
where’sn the smurf?
I’m taking the day off of work to go vote… Not that the lines will be long but more so because i’m still registered at my parents house, which is 30 miles away. so I’m just going to make a day of it… voting in my home town, gonna take my truck to the local garage and get my 100,000 mile tune up, then gonna go visit my grandma…
I’m sure I’m not dropping any big surprises by saying I’m dropping Obama’s name in the box… the only other really big vote i’m casting is NO on Prop 8. Just say NO to discrimination.
Late,
grmpysmrf
one of my siblings will be, has always been gay.
the fucking republicans who want the government to stay away—stay away from my sibling or anyone else gay, god bless. they pay taxes like the rest of us.
(yeah, i know i’m swearing)
fuck these hypocrites.
ralph reed and the rest.
goddammit, i gotta get the book production going.
crap. i’m too kind.
icepick. when the polls are closed, no matter
deal, what, we’ll have a stupid chat.deal?
Dude, if we ever happen upon each other in the real world, I’m HOLDING you to that fuckin’ curtsy.
[laugh]
GOBAMA.
( i feel an urge to come over there and slap you. but right on dude.
thanks)
I wouldn’t sweat it. My state’s so red that no one even bothered to campaign here, so it’s not like a D or R vote would have really mattered.
the only other really big vote i’m casting is NO on Prop 8. Just say NO to discrimination.
Good man.
edit: Just read this little part of it: A new section would be added stating “only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California”.
So if I read this right, if you are married in MA, and then move to California, they wont recognize the union? That’s messed up.
