let's do the poll right now

Arrived early, took a mere 17 minutes.
Sheriff was unopposed, so I voted for myself.

skarekroe. thank you.
icepick, i will do the deed.
(where the hell’s connelly? --"dude, did you get your scottish ass out there? you’ve gotta be able to vote now. for fuck’s sake, your wife’s american. connelly…connelly…wake up)

i’ll be excited for 4 years of democratic rule so that they can no longer blame the republicans for the inherent contradictions in our society

Took a whopping 5 minutes to vote…the biggest hassle being the damn pencil I was using to tickle the magic voting bubbles. My candidate will probably get around 2% of the popular vote but the electoral college will cover for my silly, idealist ways.

2 1/2 hours later I’ve made my vote. The polls were packed in Minneapolis, which is awesome. I don’t mind waiting if it means that so many people are voting.

Done with my duty.

wow.

p.s. - i voted this morning. Was in line for 1:45.

thank you elricj, prototype, green death( even afra with the smartass commentary–what’s the matter with you?..so, anyway…)

Went to the polls a little later than anticipated (Heh, my polling place is less than three blocks away from my house!), but I did the deed in under fifteen minutes. Just got back about five minutes ago.

I don’t understand people who are too lazy to vote. It’s the simplest thing in the Goddamned world to pick up a newspaper every once in a while and fill in some bubbles.

Well, I’ve lost my election virginity. Think I’m gonna go outside for a smoke. [cool]

I’ll be in Grant Park here in downtown Chicago to hear/see Obama’s speech. It’s locked down pretty hard: the roads by the park is blocked off, and security is everywhere. They expect almost a million people there. Insane.

icepick, let’s have a common smoke here.ah, feels pretty fucking good.(i haven’t smoked in about five years)
thanks man. you too slacklove.

hey afra. with that much security, even YOU will be on the safe side.

I’m voting after work, the polling place is right inside my neighborhood at a church. I can vote and burn some calories walking there.

1002

More like Ass Panthers.
Look like this is the only story like this so far though, which is good.

1002, thank you.
maybe pick up a babe while you’re being all responsible and shit. bring the paper, look concerned.
do it.
more nods to the brethren.

“this is special ed and i approve this message”.

just talked to afra.
he IS going to "that " park, which has a political history of it’s own.
get your bad selves out there, if you have not already.

peace. please.

carmangary. what’s up.

Sometimes I really miss living in MN.

No lines at 6:00 pm. Voted NO on FL constitutional amendment NO. 2

AMENDMENT #2: FLORIDA MARRIAGE PROTECTION AMENDMENT
http://tallahassee.fl.lwvnet.org/StateBallots.html

Summary: This amendment protects marriage as the legal union of only one man and one woman as husband and wife and provides that no other legal union that is treated as marriage or the substantial equivalent thereof shall be valid or recognized.

Done. I feel dirty, compromised.

Well, I’ve lost my election virginity. Think I’m gonna go outside for a smoke. [cool]
