One of my least favorite Ministry records, but I guess if it truly is that rare then it would be okay for a hard core collector. Besides, it looks cool and has a nifty tricky package.

Not worth it to me by any means, but, maybe to someone. Perhaps someone who hypothetically would also own a Buck Santa hat or a Ministry Zippo** . . . .

LOL
yeah I’m doing my research, looks like one sold on ebay for over 100 bucks.
I’m thinking it’s gonna happen.

Apparently I searched too long the only ones left on ebay are the 100 + shipping vinyls. there were a couple 75 dollar ones available 10 minutes ago. Boooooooooooo

Might be a bootleg.

I’ve been keeping my eye on these. I’m hoping to grab one for around $30 after the buzz dies down.

Not likely to happen, only 400 made one already sold on ebay for 105 plus shipping. The 2 “buy it nows” I was watching for 80 bucks sold in the time it took me to do some detective work. Although I suspect it was some or some peeps on this site cause they got snatched up after I started this thread… oh well I shoulda acted faster.

It’s hard to say, Angie used to be kind of slow spotting bootlegs (to where it took fans to point it out), but if this is not legitimate Discogs could’ve put a crimp in it by users labeling the releases Unofficial.

In any case, the record is terrible save for the second slab for the last 4 songs alone, and since no one but Grump will buy it I doubt we’ll ever know if it’s a bootleg [laugh]

It’s got the Soulfood distributor label on it. Soul food is a legit distributor of Ministry… What do you mean angie was slow to move on bootlegs? Like send cease and dissist emails or shutting down torrents or what?

I don’t know… 3 have sold in the last 4 hours. It seems ebay is the only place to get them now. every little mom and pop store on the net is sold out of them. I didn’t buy all those 3.

Why don’t you just buy one of the seven copies on Discogs?

Bought one frome greece for 63.63 euros. Which comes out to like 80 dollrs or something. Found a mom and pop store.

Be sure to ask for extra Tzatziki sauce with it.

The packaging on that looks really cool.

I’ve never actually listened to the record, just a few songs, and they were really bad so I didn’t bother…

Like.

I can put Tzatziki sauce on fucking anything…love that shit…I can’t live without Greek food…give me some keftedes and mousakka any day of the week…

It’s ok, but I’m with you. I’m a collector/completest, so of course I want it. The packaging is indeed awesome. The Bush Trilogy is sort of meh for me. Call me crazy, but I really like Rio Grande Dub.

I understand. I really like The Last Dubber.

How long have you been collecting? How much stuff have you collected? What’s your prized piece?

I really like gyros.

I got into Ministry shortly after Filth Pig came out. I think by 2000 I had all of the albums on CD, and bought the new ones as they came out.

I had some of the vinyls and cassettes, but didn’t start really collecting them until a few years ago. I have a few prized possessions…I have a few CDs that Paul autographed for me, and the second pressing of I’m Falling that is signed by Jourgensen, Roberts, Davis and George.

I have a ton of stuff, but I’ve mostly been focusing on the 80s material.

I’ve actually started a photo album that I’m going to post in the collector’s section, but have been a little short on time these past few months. Here is my 1981-1984 vinyls. https://plus.google.com/photos/115436242005895817596/albums/5797947923293095233?authkey=CK7DsJy0062j8AE
