No Raymond Watts = no go

KMFDM = no go

guess i’ll be seeing sascha a few times this year.

En Esch > Raymond Watts

En Esch is a prince, Man.Held my hand for a long time in Chicago at the shows.

En Esch is amazing.

I’ll be at the SF show.
if it was the wax trax lineup, i’d def. fly around for more shows.

KMFDM = no go

[:)]

i believe i will see sascha in more places than the US. we will see.

KMFDM just isn’t my cup of tea…

I’ll probably go to the NYC show. Last saw them in 2004.

KMFDM just ain’t the same these days.

KMFDM just ain’t the same these days.

I would agree with that, but the last album (WTF?I) is probably the best album to come from KMFDM since the reformation. If he can follow that momentum, the album should be interesting. Just hopefully he doesn’t revert back to the chugga guitars. But since there’s two bands now, maybe that will influence the new one for the better.

Who’s even in the European band? (who I’ll assume will contribute on the new album). It’ll prove interesting if they provide some honest to god personality to the playing.

They need Raymond Watts back.

They need Raymond Watts back.

I’d rather En Esch. Raymond was just a vocalist. Esch, on the other hand, contributed musically, and ascetically. Esch is the true missing piece to Sascha’s production. Raymond’s just the icing.

At this point I’m more interested in what Watts is going to release. Heck even Slick Idiot.

En Esch didn’t contribute much to some of the classics. Money was all Sascha, except for the one track Esch sang on. Nihil was a group effort from what I remember, but Esch wasn’t really on Symbols and practically gone for Adios.

I’d also say get Mark Durante back. I’ve heard Joolz do a killer lead on a PIG concert during Hot Hole. I haven’t bothered giving them enough of a listen after WWIII. Speaking of WWIII, it really doesn’t stand the test of time. I’m glad I didn’t really know about KMFDM before that show. I probably would’ve been disappointed with the setlist cuz WWII took up about 90%.

the farthest i’ve gotten with them is symbols :P. they’re too boring…and incredibly cheesy. symbols and nihil and good, and there are some decent tracks here and there.
