thanks senor grumps. Paul still hates it. I don’t think it’s a particularly good song. After working at Wax Trax and listening to music drilled into the brain, it was indeed enough.I layed off listening to anything but gregorian chants and patsy cline for a long time.Like working at a bakery.
I could see now why it wouldn’t sit particularly well with you. I’m sorry you all don’t like it but glad he made it. one of the highlights of the filth pig album. imo. before I get trolled for that last comment let me say that “The Fall” IS the highlight track of that album
Late,

The ENTIRE Filth Pig album is highlights.
Ministry’s Lay Lady Lay is a classic. Seriously.
The fact that Paul doesn’t like Lay Lady Lay is proof that he’s hardly infallible.
Also, he doesn’t have a writing credit on The Fall and I certainly agree that that’s the best song on the record.
The tune Filthpig OWNS the Filthpig album. Nothing else comes close on it.
Even though you could almost say Filth Pig is a rip off of The Melvins’ Night Goat
Wrong! The Lay Lady Lay cover has the best guitar solo in Ministry history. The only track I’ll skip on Filth Pig is MAYBE Crumbs. The live vocals on Crumbs are much higher and better.
You’re wrong

Even though you could almost say Filth Pig is a rip off of The Melvins’ Night Goat
Absolutely. It’s better than Nightgoat too.
I’d say they’re about on par with each other
I’m going to say that the guitars on Brick windows are more epic than Lay lady Lay.
And yes Filthpig>Nightgoat, but Nightgoat is pretty damn good.
