If you could pick one album to see played live

You can chose one Ministry album, and see them play it beginning to end live, with the musicians that recorded the album or toured for it what would it be?

For me it’s Dark Side of the Spoon, hands down.

That album really never got much live play, even on the tour for it.

Supermanic Soul as the opener. Happy Dust as the closer. Nastiness every song between, including one of the most underrated songs ever (Kaif). Epic

It wouldn’t be the longest Ministry show but I’d die with a hard on.

“In Case You Didn’t Feel Like Showing Up Live”

Same set list.
Same band.
Same props.

That would be just fine by me.

Where’s the fun in that?

I can’t decide if I’d rather see Last Sucker performed by the With Sympathy band, or With Sympathy performed by the Last Sucker band. [laugh]

The first option wins by a margin of one billion percent.

I’m following killface on this one… with out a doubt would love to see dsots played in its entirety.

Don’t lie.

Having seen the Mind tour firsthand I can eliminate that, so I would have to go with the album that got me into Ministry in the first place TWITCH.

My ‘dream’ line up for this:
Al on vocals and keys
Paul on bass and keys
Keith Leblanc on drums and percussion
Sherwood running the soundboard

the runner up would be Darkside.

DSOTS hands fucking down! Except I’d rather have Happy Dust as the opener. Full versions of Step and Nursing Home. Supermanic Soul with the sample at the beginning. Close second would be LORAH

I never play the silly hidden tracks on any of my discs, but what’s the deal with “Happy Dust”? I don’t think I have that on my version of DSOTS. Wasn’t that some B-Side from one of the FilthPig singles or something?

Sorry, I’m a huge fan but I never get into the minutae or all the extra doo dads (I do like that track, though).

It’s the spaghetti western B-side on the Bad Blood single. It is pretty excellent.

Happy Dust was also a bonus track on the japanese release of DSOTS. It’s a cool song but it doesn’t really fit on the album

I always forget that Happy Dust isn’t on the actual CD. I burned all my CDs to disc a long time ago to keep the actual disc and artwork in good shape and I like to add the b sides to the end. So my choice is Japanese DSotS.

Twitch is a close second ,but if Paisley was on any Filth Pig import that makes the choice a little tougher.

Its the song you hear playing while al is walking to the stage on the sphinctour dvd as well as when he’s walking away from the stage after the dvd is over.
Think paisely is only available as the fall b-side.

and the menu screen.

Twitch!!! no freaking doubt about it boys

DSOTS close second [;)]

It’s on the Lay Lady Lay CD single.

Is the Bad Blood single really rare? I’ve been collecting Ministry releases for over 5 years, and I have never seen it.

TWITCH - tour lineup of 1986.

No question about it!

Yeah Darkside for sure…so much variety on that one.

With Sympathy.

Just because. Followed by THORAH.

You can often find them on ebay… but like most ministry singles there is either a flood of them or none to be found for weeks! You can see a pic of them on on the merchboard I posted my collection on there. You could also check the other ebays like germany or italy!
