I hope you’re right, but I think you’re too optimistic. The virus spreads from person to person. The world’s population is way higher now than it was 100 years ago, there’s way more opportunity to spread it with the world population as it is now. It stuck around 3 years with less opportunity to spread back then. Also, 100 years ago they were arresting people in San Francisco for not wearing masks. We’re not nearly that vigilant today.
I know it’s total conspiracy theory but I think our politicians who were ushered to the front of the Vax line for photo ops got a saline shot, while they plan on testing the real shit on the population. “6 mos. to start working and a booster before then?!” what the fuck ever!! Fuck that. I just hope they don’t make me get one. I want that shit vetted first.
I’m never an early adopter in any field. When a new game console is released I wait 6 months before buying one. I let the marks be the guinea pigs for game developers lol. I’ll swoop in when all the glitches have been ironed out.
The same applies here. Many scientists working on the vaccine have admittedly said they don’t know the long term side effects of the vaccine. I’ll jump in and get one when I’m reasonably certain I won’t turn into a cancerous mutant after taking it lol
I do the same shit with video game systems too! LOL I have no want or desire for a ps5 or xbox. doesn’t even register on my radar. I decided long ago I was never going to pay to be a beta tester.

I’m right there with y’all with regards to the vaccine shit.
It’s funny to me that it was so “politicized”.
I say I don’t want it and people are like, "Oh, you think Bill Gates is putting a microchip in you because . . . ". I’m like, “No, if I thought we actually had the abilities to develop microchip tracking technology that could be administered effectively to 300 million people in 6 months I’d be way LESS fearful.”
I just don’t think that a society that, over 10 months, still can’t come to a consensus on something as basic as wearing masks can effectively and safely roll out a medicine for 300 million people when it normally takes us 3-5 years just to approve a new aspirin or boner pill.
I just heard (and this was on NBC, not Fox or OAN) that there were workers that left the medicine out of the freezers overnight and didn’t say anything, so that 50,000 or so of the doses admistered at whatever region were ineffective or worse, harmful. THAT’s the type of shit I’m worried about . . . . not evil geniuses, but normal dumbfuck simpletons (which makeup our vast majority).
To give possible benefit of the doubt . . . . I’d say it was also totally possible that Amazon just fucked up and delivered to the wrong address. They’ve gotten better, but it was almost like a bad sitcom routine for several months where I live, where my neighbors and I would have to cross all over our complex trading packages because we were always getting each others’ deliveries for the wrong units.
Regardless, though, I suggest contacting Amazon. They’re pretty good about rectifying lost shipments. And a lot of delivery people, if leaving something on a porch, will take a photo at the time . . . so you’d at least be able to confirm whether it was on YOUR porch (which indicates someone did in fact jack it) or someone else’s.
I’ll also say that logistics in general have been complete dogshit across the board (especially for USPS). I’ve had shipments that were picked up for dispatch sit for 10 days without even being scanned into the system (so it still shows as “waiting for pick up”.
So sorry to hear it either way and hope your stuff gets sorted out and made right.
I’m avoiding the vaccine for now, if for no other reason than I am pathologically afraid of needles. (No joke – presented with a fist in the face or a needle, I’ll take the fist 10x out of 10. I got the fear from my pediatrician, who I think did his doctoral work at Bergin Belsen.)
This whole roll out has been a massive shitshow. In Britain, they’re so desperate for a return to normalcy that they’re giving people the first shot from one manufacturer, and the second shot from a second manufacturer. That’s just patchwork, man. Sloppy.
Someone on my FB feed said that he didn’t care if they were implanting chips, said he’d let them install an iPod shuffle if life would just go back to normal 
Then why did she open it? Even when i was living single id look at the address label to see who sent it. Now i look to see if its for me or my wife.

First one was fedex. Thats the one the bitch opened. Second ones just flat out MIA. USPS. Malekko Diabolik for my Brother. Fedex sorted things out via twitter a few days back. They called again today to check back with me. “Yeah Bitch opened it!” Put that in your report. Now ive gotta get at USPS. Needless to say… Fuck.
