Sounds like it’s worth checking out since Scaccia’s back on the scene. Of course I’m gonna have to download it or wait til it gets onto youtube. And at least Billy Gibbons is playing on his own song

I was shocked to to see that scaccia is back too. I thought they had a falling out after the masterba tour.
I would imagine his back is feeling better too (Or neck whatever he had surgery on)
If your were worried about spending the cash, try to find it used, cause it seems like the the internet samples aren’t doing any of the released songs justice! (well at least that’s how it was for Mixxxes of the mole)
is that “Rehab” as in, Amy Winehouse?!?! [shocked]
Yeah lol! I asked, a while back, who did rehab originally and was told that’s a winehouse song
I haven’t listened to any of the cd. yet I put it in my truck for the drive to work tomorrow! I caught about 5 seconds of the new Every day is Halloween and I like what i heard of that quick snippet.
I’ll let you know what I think later.
I got to say though the shit that gets released on the internet doesn’t get done justice. Mixxxes of the mole sounds like utter shit based on what was released on the net but when I put it in my truck stereo it’s fine. So fine in fact I’d say it’s to the point of not bad, and that’s just my truck, I got a stock toyota stereo and speakers. Everything Usually sounds fantastic on my home system (but then most shit does given my set up)
Last dubber was really good too! probably my favorite of the Mixxx records he’s released.

Well, so much these being leftovers. So i’m guessing he ditched the solo album? He was working on that, but now he isn’t. Was too quiet for his own good. Pretty sure he scrapped it.
Listening to it now…it is really odd, the ‘redux’ versions of these Psalm 69 tracks…
First of all, am I crazy, or is “NWO” the same song, sans bass? The vox are the same, the guitar is the same, even the wailing sample behind all the material…is it really that obvious to the human ear, or am I imagining things? Did they really cut the fucking BASS out? It sounds wimpy in comparison, no ‘hard hitting’ melody so to speak. It almost seems like a channel in my speaker is out or something…
“Hotrod” - I don’t think Al even knows the lyrics, but it sounds like the vox were recorded in a tin can. It’s all muffled. What is this?
Okay I admit I liked “Rehab” but it’s more like Skatenigs humor, this cd…
For sure hotrod is unlistenable!
Nwo sounds a bit different to me. different pauses and breaks and what not in the beginning
So far the decent tunes for me are
Iron man
Sharp dressed man (prolly my fav track off the cd)
paint it black (still waivering)the music is definitely good but the vox are really quite bad he sings to fast and I think he’s in the wrong key.and he sounds flat at times. I think somone posted that that song probably would’ve been better suited as a slow sludgy filth pig style b-side. I agree completely.
The new halloween excellent tune
Rehab sounds a lot like road house blues to me although I haven’t heard rhb in quite sometime but that’s how I remember it sounding.
Purple haze is boring cause it sounds just like the purple head track from revco
Thunderstruck is kinda boring in that acdc still has done it the best and I don’t think anyone has successfully reinvented that song
Stigmata is ok again
Khyber pass is ok again
Nothing else really stands out to me anymore good or bad.
