What I hate more than idiots like her are the morons giving her a platform to speak on. That stupid cunt hasn’t made a coherent/truthful statement since she was last relevant. You find me any random idiot on the street and their opinion on anything is more important and will make more sense than two words that come spewing out of her mouth.
And her husband. I’m sorry, but what a faggot. If that isn’t living proof that their little “pray the gay away” bullshit is, indeed, bullshit and that Michelle Bachmann is, indeed, a moron for being the only person on the entire fucking planet who doesn’t or wouldn’t know right away that that fat fuck is flaming then I don’t know what is.
I also watched John Boehner do his predictable “emotional guy” thing today (or was it yesterday?). I hate him with a fiery passion but what I am beginning to hate more are the idiots buying into his bullshit or making it a topic of discussion. Everyone’s response should have been, “This shit again? Stop crying, release the hostages, and then get fucked.” Instead the media is focusing on how “passionate” and “emotional” his little speech was. Fuck that fucking guy. We should be throwing tomatoes at him not letting him make his fake, tear-jerker, speeches. I’m not an Obama fan (anymore) but these motherfuckers… how many fucking times? How many times with this bullshit??? Come the fuck on already.
I just saw a Piers Morgan interview with M. Blackburn. She was babbling on about the house authoring an appropriations bill. She apparently doesn’t understand the difference between appropriations bill and a continuing resolution. If she does understand the difference between the two, IMO she was intentionally misleading the public. PM and DWS both called her out on her BS.

You beat me to it in your post. I was gonna write that she knows the difference she’s betting that you don’t.

I know that our last appropriations bill was passed in 2010. It’s been CR ever since. No COLA since 2010 either.
Okay, so the government shuts down because they can’t spend any money . . . Then they vote to PAY everyone that they’ve told NOT to work? So instead of throwing mountains of money for functional mediocrity (or worse), we’re throwing mountains of money to get NOTHING. What a joke.

One of the reasons it costs more to start this motherfucker back up. Thanks obama
DoD Civil Servants go back to work on Monday. Lockheed Martin was set to furlough 3,000 employees on Monday and Sikorsky was going to have a layoff because production has stopped due to government mandatory inspection points (a quality function for production).
Typical that the people making the rules have no idea how the rules affect/impact the people on the front lines until someone screams foul after the rules are in place. Read up about Boehner, OPM, and the ACA employer contribution exemption for Congress and their staffers. Then you will know what happened and why they are bitching. This snowball has been rolling downhill for three years and they did minimal crap to sort it and implement it properly.

Hahaha, yeah. It completely defeats the supposed purpose.
EHRMAGERD!!! We ain’t gots no gubbermint!!! We’s a all gonna die!!!
Boring.
And yes, it’s both sides. It might be one side in particular that brought us here to this particular “stand still” this time, but they’re both pretty damn worthless.
The Republicans are just a lot better at making themselves look like complete boobs (they are) so it’s a lot easier to cast them into the villain role, but there are no heros emerging in this saga from either side.
Both sides are guilty. Most times the Republicans are guilty of being bullying assholes and the Democrats are often guilty of being spineless cowards who don’t have the courage to stand up for their ideals and the people they’re supposedly fighting for.
How anyone today could still have the blinders on and claim that one side isn’t just as fucked as the other (even if they’re fucked in a different way) is beyond me.
If both sides did it then they would both be bullies or both cowards but they’re both not. Yeah, they both have their shortcomings but this false equivalency is tiresome already.
