There’s obviously a buncha Eagles fanboys working for Foxsports. The Eagles are rated #1. xD Really??? “Dream Team” huh? You’d think after not even making the playoffs last year that would wrap up the hype machine for the Eagles. WRONG!!

They are favorites again this year for reasons that are beyond me. Vick really? You’re not gonna win with Vick. He’s retarded. All he does is run around, gets sacked and injures his freakin knee or foot or some shit. Happens every year. They also have the Cowboys at #13. xD! LOL!!! Wow.

Cowboy haters, what’s new. The Cowboys defense has been fortified this year. Good luck out-maneuvering Carr, Jenkins or Clairborne. Cowboys tomorrow. I know you’ll be watching Foxsports.

Vick can barely make it through the pre season unscathed. With as much as he runs with the ball, there is no way he can make through an entire season without getting knocked out for a few games.

Even if he can make it through the season, he’s just not a great passing QB. Outside of his fluke 2010 season, his completion percentage is usually less than 60% and his Interceptions are in the double digits.

As much as I hate the Packers, I have to admit that they have one of the greatest QBs ever. A great QB can carry a team a long way so I have to go with them at #1.

Since it’s that dull time of the summer between when the Cubs have been eliminated and the World Series begins I might as well turn my focus to football. Sure. Why not.

Here are the ESPN Power Rankings…

I can’t understand how the Packers win with such a porous defense. The Patriots are always in the hunt, but they’re hardly the physical, dominating team they once were. NYG have already lost at home. The 49ers seem ready to excel but now play a tougher sked and are probably a year away. Texans are unpolished, the Ravens and Eagles are birds…cool birds but birds never win in the NFL. The Steelers wear yellow pants. Falcons…again birds. That leaves…

The Bears. Dominating defense with Briggs, Peppers, Urlacher and the gang. Brandon Marshall is reunited with Jay Cutler, and Forte is the best all around back in the NFL. The roster is deep and they probably have the best Special Teams in the league. It might take them some time to gel, and they play in the toughest division in football with the Packers and Lions…but I think they’ll at least get to the NFC Championship Game. And from there anything can happen. I know this…nobody is going to out-muscle or out-hit them them year. They’re huge.

Honestly, if the Rams aren’t doing well I’m not emotionally invested in any non-local teams enough to care about football. Same with the Blues and hockey. Baseball just puts me to sleep.

The Packers are a safe pick to win the Super Bowl. I like the Bears too. These Rankings are a hell of a lot better than Foxsports. Only thing missing is the 'Boys. Cowboys should easily be right there in 7th or 8th ahead of the Eagles.

I’m not really buying the Giants this year. I think they’ll be a mediocre 8-8. (Coming from a Cowboys fan xD). The Cowboys blew some pretty big leads to the Giants last season which could easily have made the Giants an 7-9 team. Dallas has corrected those defensive issues and I can seriously say without being a “homer” that Dallas will win the division and finally make the playoffs. Romo has some deadly weapons.

Dude,the Lebron hate is so played out…if the worst thing he ever did was make an ill-fated announcement that raised millions for charity,big fucking deal…he matured alot in the last year and apaologized for any mistakes he made…and then he went out this year and won an NBA championship,won the Finals MVP then won a gold medal and won MVP of the Olympics (and he is gonna dominate for a long time to come)…guess who the only other player in history is to accomplish that quadruple feat is?

He has actually turned into a pretty humble guy who is incredibly active in the community down here and is very generous and giving…have your opinions but hating on Lebron is just so passe…even Cleveland fans have moved on…the guy proved himself this year in more ways than one…

I don’t see it. why should he stick around a losing team? based on the link you provided, he didn’t talk shit. he just stated plainly, “I’m going to Miami.” he didn’t say anything negative about Cleveland. As a matter of fact he spoke highly of Cleveland. how is that a big F U? I don’t think he did anything wrong, at least towards Cleveland, aside from taking the cowards way out… (never once did Michael Jordan try to get traded to be on the Lakers back when he was losing with the bulls in the late 80’s but that’s a different point).

Fuck. Those 90’s Mavericks teams were the worst of all time. Yea I’m pretty sure they were brought into the league for teams like the Lakers to smash on and rack up some Wins xD. That all changed when Cuban bought the team. He’s made one or two bone head moves at the front office (not resigning Steve Nash comes to mind). He’s turned it around though. He spends the cash and he gets players to sign here. Love the guy.

Riley put together a freakishly good team in Miami, having 3 huge stars just makes it that much easier too. Lebron will easily win a few championships, dont’ know about more than 7 as he claimed xD!! They have the Lakers to worry about, they just signed Dwight Howard and made them favorties to win it all. It won’t be easy for the Heat.

Yeah,that whole take it to the bank thing didn’t go as planned haha…the Lakers will definitely be better with Dwight next year but Kobe and Nash are in their twilight and not as strong as they used to be…still that type of experience will guarantee that they are formidable,and Dwight just dominates as a center…truth be told I’m more worried about the Thuder…a lot of youth and freakish ability and talent on that team and they will only get better in the off season…plus they will be hungry after getting a taste of being in the Finals…

Will be interesting to see what the new Brooklyn Nets will do and the Knicks will be better(god,I hate them)…Clippers will get better and the Memphis Grizzlies are a young sleeper team with lot’s of talent…

Spurs are over the hill and the Magic are just toast…then you have all the middle of the road teams like the Hawks,Jazz etc…the teams that always make the playoffs and never get anywhere…should be an interesting season all in all,though…
