Ive seen a broadcast of one of his shows and the BOUNCERS were dancing and having a good time.

I don’t.
Smooth Criminal was a cool song, and some of the stuff from Off The Wall, I guess.
And the old Moonwalker arcade game was fun.
But that’s it.

Yes, it doesnt matter what genre of music you listen to EVERYBODY likes Micheal Jackson.

RIP

Never liked Michael Jackson and I’m more sad at the reminder of what is most important to the masses. Obviously he had a positive impact on a lot of people but the amount of attention devoted to this as opposed to other more important matters is sickening.

Definitely WORD!!! Who knows that the million man protests in Iran are all but over, with no change for the protestors? You didn’t hear that from our media!!! but i still like mike… just, even a days worth of coverage is probably too much, let alone 3-4 days

Idn’t really care for him too much. Had a few good songs and that’s about it. I can say though that I can at least respect all that he did musically. Literially helped lay the foundation of what would later become “pop”. He was practically the archetype imo. I think he was really out there and kinda weired me out some, but he deserves a lot of credit for the music over the years. 40 years is a long time, considering he literially did it his entire life. Kinda saddening.

Yeah he was an icon and all, but his death doesnt really mean much in the big picture. He was just an entertainer. I actually believe its the end of times, just turn on ur television(reality tv)and how kids are so dumbed down.lol

there’s a lot more to blame for that, heh

Let’s rationalise this.

No doubt, the guy had talent. An amazing talent. Noone will ever come close to what he could do.

But the whole ‘kiddy fiddlin’ issue will never sit well with me.

The reality is, he had to pay some 13 year old out in the early 90s for millions. If the guy was so assured of his innocence, would he have not followed the judicial path to prove his innocence? He did the second time when the claims were indeed proven to be patently absurd.

Where there’s smoke, there’s fire. That leaves me inclined to think MJ had more than a few ‘issues’ which were abhorrent on every level.

Look at Gary Glitter. He’s a man with far less talent, yet he’s been embroiled in the same sort of controversy; admittedly, he was incontravertibly linked to the crime, yet I doubt many people would be as willing to excuse his behaviour if he was to die.

In the case of MJ, it’s the talent and the influence that obscures the reality of his existence; he was a egotistical and excessive paedophile.

You can say what you want about him donating a bit of money here and there. Wouldn’t have been sweat off a monkey’s back, relative to his wealth. He spent infinitely many times more money on Neverland, memorabilia, etc. and subsequently, blew it. The ego began to exceed the reality of his existence. He blew it way out of proportion. I mean, the whole HIStory saga… let’s just not go there. Portraying himself in this bizarre canonical light in this sickening self-serving fashion.

The reality is, though…

say what you want,

the real Michael Jackson died 20 years ago. What we had was a skeleton of a man. And that’s a tragedy. He could’ve achieved far greater good, and yet he fucked it all up, and left three kids behind.

Oh, and Bubbles. [:(]

some artists sustain their relevance in the public’s eye. many don’t. jackson didn’t.
that rings a bell here.
doesn’t matter if your black or white.

Billy Mays bought the farm this morning.

His wife found him this morning in their Tampa home. He was on the Tampa flight the other day that blew the nose wheel tires on landing and he was subsequently hit in the head with a piece of luggage when everything shifted forward.

Michael Jackson is NO pedophile!

I honestly think this. This is my theory:
Alright, alot of people get stuck in the past “oh I wish I could change this, I wish i could change that, blah blah blah” and they Dwell on it.
MJ had the amount of money that warps minds. combine that with stuck in the past. Probably didn’t register to MJ that money can’t buy you that kind of “Do-over”
So what was mike doing with those little kids? trying to get to as close to his past as he could… He was trying to buy a childhood.
I think Mike wasn’t more than 8-9 years old in his head (Or at least wanted to be) anyway and the last thing an 8-9 year old thinks about is fucking his best friend! MJ was so obsessed with Innocence that I don’t think sex enters anywhere near that life he was trying to make for himself…
Think about it… Theme park, Zoo, pet monkey… You don’t need all of that to seduce a child…(I’m guessing here) I’m pretty sure a stuffed animal and a a snickers bar would work just as good and be cheaper (Hell it works for most adult woman and you’d figure children would be easier than adult women)
I really think Mike was just trying to have the child hood that he never got. All of that stuff he had was stuff that any child dreams of having when they are growing up!
I have enough money to buy ANYTHING! what am i going to spend it on? I guess I’ll buy a childhood!

True grmpysmrf, he was also obsessed with peter pan I guess that was the thing behind all those nose jobs. I think its unfair now that he’s dead to ruin his legacy by focosing on the negative stuff.

Also mooney Billy Mays was one annoying asshole I have to turn down the volume on my tv everytime he comes on. BILLY MAYS HERE!! I seriously think he smokes crack just for those ads.

And besides, since speculation gets us nowhere, he was DIAGNOSED as a regressed 10-year old with body dysmorphic disorder and an addiction to painkillers.

Obviously, he could have still been a pedophile, but that was never proved, whereas the diagnosis exists on paper.

So people should really stop calling him a pedophile unless it is proved properly.

I agree.

famous people get there sometimes at a cost to family and personality.jackson’s no different.

I don’t know any 10 year olds that are interested in sex. But then by the same token I don’t know any 10 year old with body dysmorphic disorders or that are addicted to pain killers (although, you could probably liken the pain killers to a child’s addiction to candy, probably sends out the same signals to the pleasure centers)
But then again… if he has the mind of a ten year old he may be body dysmorphic because he doesn’t look like the other 10 year olds and his poor little mind can’t understand…something to ponder

So people should really stop calling him a pedophile unless it is proved properly.

Agreed! Weird doesn’t automatically mean pedophile

Michael Jackson lived in such a completely different world than me and the sort of people I know that I have no context on which to judge or figure out any sort of details regarding his personal life. Seriously, I’d find it easier to figure out the mindset of a cicada insect.

that would be a cause for something like an eating disorder, for example… and kids as young as like 7 i think get those… I knew a girl once who had bulemia and I visited her at one of those places and there was this little girl (probably 7 or so) there and it was really heartbreaking to see.
