Al needs to get back on heroin because smoking crack is clearly NOT working for him.
I’ve literally been staring at this tracklist for like five minutes trying to come up with an original response, but that’s pretty much it verbatim, Gunnar.

“Hey, Man! Is that Freedom Rock?”
I don’t get it. Is Al remixing his own songs and adding new ones or are others covering Al’s songs…
Late,

lol. greatest tricks? seems like it’s being “marketed” (a feeble attempt) for halloween
Sadly, it took this release to use the correct form of “Every Day” on the title. “Everyday” is an adjective, and has made for an improperly named song title all these years.

Check this out too.

Totally re-recorded with modern Ministry drums and guitars!
Ooohhh my god! It’s so bad! Thankfully that Razed In Black remix sounds good. It sounds just like Stupidity.
Huge disappointment.
I bought it. Call it a 99 cent curiosity. There IS some sort of variation on the ‘bop mmm bop bop’ in the song. It’s basically Halloween sounding like The Last Sucker from start to finish. Al just mails in the vocals, he doesn’t even sing/scream the chorus as high as he did in '84.
The cover art for the single is embarrasing. A flaming jack-o-lantern with a cheap Windows font. I’m guessing there was zero budget for the graphics. It’s a 5-minute Photoshop job. The image is probably from deviantART or the web!
The sad thing about this redux is that people will hate it now, but it likely would have received a warm welcome during C U LaTour, just for being in the set list. He should have thought of this a few years ago.

Oh lordy… oh my oh my.
I want that 30 seconds back
Does Al do the guitar tracks now that Sin’s gone?
weirdly, i kinda dig it. the full version is up at myspace.
i think there are going to be two releases - one a best of/cover up leftovers thing, and the other a headhunter style halloween release. that’s the only thing that makes sense, really.

Agreed - though I’m actually way more interested in the remix single than the re-record compilation.
Also, while I’m not digging this new version, if he’d done it as the closer on the C-U-Latour it would’ve KILLED. The crowd would’ve gone fucking nuts.
Ah well.
EDIT: here’s an article about the album that tells us absolutely nothing new.

I actually helped Matt out with the SUE article, but yeah, he said he had trouble finding any information online regarding the release. He pretty much went by information shared here, and the Amazon page.

Isn’t saccia back? But i’m sure Al’s still capable of playing a guitar.
Listened to it on Myspace and I totally dig it, much better than the 30 second clip. Sure it’s a meathead metal version of “Halloween” but it’s a cool meathead metal version.
Once again, the new track is blocked on MySpace in Canada. [mad]
I’d like it better if the vox werent so lazy. Whats next a metaled out With Sympathy?
