Personally i never dug this track. I do,however hope he revisits the land of rape and honey or twitch soon as lorah is his favorite. So, we have this and the FIX soundtrack which from what i read seemed like a tribute cd (maynard tool) was a guy doing a mix, hopefully everyone else in the movie does one too (n.ogre/trent/buzz/lemmy) i’d kill to hear how al would distort Lemmy’s vox i bet it would be great! ala lorah/psalm69 distortion!
I am 99.9% sure that is Al on the vox. It sounds way to much like him not to be him. That is pretty cool of him to redo the vocals for halloween. This remix reminds me of the newer Depeche mode songs off playing the angel and sounds of the universe…
Guess it’s comparable to PTA…a little. I think it’s Al, also. Just not often these days that we don’t hear him screaming, you know?
After listening to the Razed in Black remix:
- Sounds like Alain on vox to me
- Sounds like the main synth riff of Depeche Mode’s “Wrong” right smack in the middle of the remix
- Quite funny, really.
This is the last thing I expected Al to be doing–if he indeed really did re-record vocals for this remix.
If true though, it’s definitely a more promising direction than The Last Sucker/Cover Up/Endless Remixxxxxxxx albums.
Yeah i think it’s gotta be him it’s got that hardered 20+ years of smoking rasp to it (his actual singing voice is shot) and he’s dropped the faux english accent. I just can’t wait to hear current al going “bop,bop-mm bop-bop” Ha!

I had a dream last night that featured lots of different shit but in one instance Paul & Al turned up; Al was as quiet as a mouse, Paul was drinking beer but kept letting the bottle fall. He couldn’t handle his drink. That definitively proves Paul is no straight edge character.

As for the covers, way to shit in the punch bowl. But in all honesty, if Al really doesn’t give a fuck, and doesn’t need to make ACDC covers for the cash… I bet he’s having a blast just fucking around and covering this well known songs. He really loves doing things that people hate him for, I can definitely admire that.
