Embarrassing.......

I’m sure it’s the bands schtick to insult the audience. But still it wasn’t very impressive watching this fellow, who looked a bit like a Hot Topic store exploded all over him, making fun of the “goths” in the crowd and telling everyone they were “here to be seen, not to see the bands”. Ho hum. He seemed genuinely annoyed that more people weren’t into the show. I dunno, maybe he’s a cool cat under all the on stage “angst” but he was pretty eye rolling on this occassion.

I met him ages ago in New Orleans. It’s his schtick. He’s trying to do the punk rock “Fuck you, audience!” thing. I thought it was amusing, but what do I know.

well lets face it, the “goths” deserve some abuse.
but if its shelled out by a guy like this, its a case of the pot calling the kettle black…

I thought that hate dept dude was kinda funny at the limelight show in nyc w/ohgr.

Most embarrassing show i ever went to??? well i went to yanni in a deal with my mom so i could go to lollapalooza (back when it was of some sort of importance, meaning pre-metallica year)

ding ding ding. we have a winner folks. (no disrespect). [:P]

Yanni’s pretty bad, but you can’t crown him champ, only because it was a sacrifice to get to Lollapalooza. Technicality! Now if someone wants to step up, and admit that they willingly paid to see Smashmouth…that’s a home run.

1002

Smash Mouth’s not terribly bad…

I think willingly seeing Hanson in concert would trump all.

ok here’s a bad one. I paid to see soulfly in NJ on their like first tour. Their drummer quit that day. He was the dude that did that kick ass remix of the spulutura song chaos ad… So we all were waiting around to see if the show was even going to happen. So what max cavalera did was audition a bunch of people, no not from big bands, but from the line. So we got to hear about 50 people fuck up roots nad whatnot. I think we waited around for 3 or so hours for a show to start. Finally it did, he had like 2 people from the line, and a bnuch of local band drummers from NYC each play one song…He played a set of like 8 songs tops, and then book it out of there.
Last time I ever went to see that shitty ass band.

what else I paid to ee the new guns and roses and sabastian Bach and Papa roach opened… so technically i paid to see that crap.

I saw Soulfly at a festival and they were great…
