El Fin

Its the end of the world and you are being quarentined somewhere into the vast armpits of the Nevada desert by our big brother. Your final checkpoint and one of them walkie through scanners…scans your neural implant to check for viruses…your allowed only three fking mp3 files! What three choice songs do you take with you to toward your final days… before taking your final breath of fresh air?

fking nice, im down with that idea to man…dance until doom!

Miserlou - Dick Dale & His Del-tones

Under the Milky Way - The Church

A Million Angels - Severed Heads

Mark Morgan: “Gold Slouch”
Mark Morgan: “My Chrysalis Highwayman”
Mark Morgan: “Vault of the Future”

… It IS the end of the world, after all.

The Sweet: “Oxygen”
Megadeth: “A Tout La Monde”
Andy Prieboy: “Who Do You Think We’re Coming For?”

Absolute Monarchs- Should’ve Known
Mark Lanegan- Lexington Slow Down

The first and last were reflex thoughts, the second was hard to narrow down.

Guns N’ Roses- Coma
Ulver- Nowhere/Catastrophe
Ministry- 10/10

The Doors - The End
Pink Floyd - Money

Bontot - I like yr Bontot

Bontot - Put yr Bontot on my face

Bontot - Sweaty Bontot forever

I suppose I’d want three vastly different sonic experiences, so:

This Mortal Coil - Song To The Siren
Ministry - Just One Fix (long version)
They Might Be Giants - Birdhouse In Your Soul

[reply]Guns N’ Roses- Coma
Ministry- 10/10

Excellent choices!

Both of those songs represent death. Coma you get it from the outside POV in the hospital as well as from the person experiencing this.

On the other hand with 10/10 I always interpreted DSOTS as a man’s last heroin trip. He spends the first 3 songs getting it, then Eureka Pile is where he actually shoots up and the whole cycle of the trip begins from there. And then 10/10 is him basically oding.

I always interpreted 10/10 as death at the hands of a serial killer.

Never thought of it like the way you laid it out just now, it’s good theory. I always thought of “Eureka Pile” as a big score of drugs, and when you story the album out like that it makes sense… I think you may be on to something…
gonna have to break out dark side again.

I think I’ll just put on “Cover Up” or “Mixxxes of the Mole” and push play.

That way, death will come as a sweet relief.

end of the world and NO ONE said the fall (sphinctour version)?!

the fall
the frail
the end.

(these are not my choices)

i’d probably just listen to Girl U Want 3 times instead.
or on a serious note, The Electrician by Scott Walker…
and then… adam ant or some shit… how about…
Stand and Deliver as the sky is cracking.

fuck the end of the world. it’s not even trying anymore.

“End of the World As We Know It” by REM has yet to be offered as well.

I think I’ll just put on “Cover Up” or “Mixxxes of the Mole” and push play.

fkkk man,i almost piasssed my pants reading that!! I have to agree!

honorable mention-

Skinny puppys - Spahn Dirge

This track conjures up some darkazz imagery, whilst sitting there in a hopeless state.

Almost like getting the grand tour of dante’s inferno while this plays in the background…best part of this song is at the 5:49…some nice head bobbing action.
