El Fin

On the other hand with 10/10 I always interpreted DSOTS as a man’s last heroin trip. He spends the first 3 songs getting it, then Eureka Pile is where he actually shoots up and the whole cycle of the trip begins from there. And then 10/10 is him basically oding.

That song now reminds me of Cronenberg’s NAKED LUNCH, especially the scenes with the typewriter trying to run out the door

[reply]I think I’ll just put on “Cover Up” or “Mixxxes of the Mole” and push play.

That way, death will come as a sweet relief.

fkkk man,i almost piasssed my pants reading that!! I have to agree![/reply]

Aw, Mixxxes of the Mole isn’t actually that bad.
The recent Halloween anthology makes it look like a masterpiece.

Ministry - The Fall
Smashing Pumpkins - Ava Adore
Jane’s Addiction - Then She Did…

Three songs that would never get old.

Then She Did is a beautiful choice

William Basinski - The Disintegration Loops I - dlp 1.1

Nadja - Thaumogenesis

Kyuss - Welcome To Sky Valley - II (100 degrees - Space Cadet - Demon Cleaner)

cuz longer tracks are better if you only get 3 :stuck_out_tongue:
that’s about 2:15 mins of music, even if the first is a loop.

Mother Mallards Instant Masterpiece Company “C.A.G.E.”
Popol Vuh “Aguirre III”
Terry Riley “Eastern Man”

Three nice long tracks that will sooth me rather than freak me out.

The post-apocalyptic jokes aside. My proper top-three-songs-as-per-right-friggin’-now?

Hmm.

Ministry: “Dream Song”
Red Lorry Yellow Lorry: “Beating My Head (Version)”
Whitehouse: “Why You Never Became a Dancer”
