He has these dumb things made and then price gouges whatever the fuck he wants for 'em (or tries to).

I was curious to see what I would find under the seller’s other items, and, sure enough . . . more of the same.

Single sided “very rare” picture disc bootlegs that he’s making.

Don’t offer him a goddamned cent, as far as I’m concerned. I’m not a Dudley Do-Right bootleg hater. But I think bootlegs should at least offer something other (live recordings, lost tracks, demos, etc.) than the album track pressed on a single-sided record.

If you want a fancy wall decoration, fine. Spend whatever you usually pay for your Franklin Mint Norman Rockwell or John Wayne plates. But I assure everyone, this will never be worth more than the plastic it’s pressed on.

He’s been making these things for years, he’s even managed to sell a bunch of Skinny Puppy ones.

Not worth anyone’s time or money, I think he’s/they even been reported on numerous occasions.

I thought it’d look pretty good on the wall. Funny since Gunnar said something abut the mounted franklin mint plates or something like that.

ETSY is definitely a more appropriate platform since it really is just craft art.

I suspect he’s using clear vinyl and just essentially encasing a nice printing of a band shot or album cover within the clear vinyl. You can actually go on YouTube and see how to copy records in old-school style.

I would suspect the sound quality (if anyone has ever even played one) is likely pretty horrible.
