I know i’m beating a dead horse, but if only the farewell tour would’ve gone the way we all dreamed, the way it should have ended… THIS DVD COULD’VE BEEN SOMETHING GREAT! Adios… Putas Madres, good name to, what a shame.[mad]
The tour sucked because of the false advertising and lack of older material. There was SOME of the newer material that was infact good, decent, or tolerable. I’d possibly consider getting this…? But i’d find other sources of finding this, rather than giving Al a dime. I vowed not to buy anything remotely jourgensen-related, and i’m sticking to it. I’m sure a torrent will pop-up someday, or i’ll find it in a used-bin (not a cent into his pocket).
Basically, i’m curious since I had heard the denver boot, and found it tolerable. I’d be a little insulted though if they didn’t include the burton songs, which would possibly be more of a reason to see this.
according to al: new “studio”, lard recording and live adios all in may. must be a lucky month, or waitin’ on the electronic tax refund.better check and see if i’m gettin’ some stimuli perks too.
god bless super bowl sunday…and pass the cheese, i mean, CHEETOS.
I have some video from 2008 and it pretty much blows. The new band is boring and Al is just going through the motions. No thanks.
Uh, alright.
I don’t recall anyone who actually went to any of the shows complaining about the performance. In fact, I went with a friend who doesn’t particularly care about Ministry, and he loved it.
The setlist is a different story…
I’ll probably pick this up if I see it used somewhere. I had a great time at the show, same as carmangary, but I had several months beforehand to get over the false advertising and shitty setlist.
I went to the show and was pretty happy with the turn out. Sadly the reasons i liked the show are completely absent from this release. Bell screaming his throat out and looking as pissed as he could be on J1F was one of the only reasons i wanted this dvd/cd to happen. Fuck it now. The only ministry shows i caught were the last three tours. It sucks. But the evil doers tour was cool for what it was.
I really hope somehow the revco tour is cool. I liked the new cd and the last tour was awesome but that was probably the final chapter with phil, luc, and al on stage.

We’re in agreement here. I think burton really added alot of energy when he burst on stage mid set and basically threw himself on and off the fence and screamed like a banshee
Thanks but no thanks. It’s really telling that they don’t even have any songs on this track list that weren’t on the Bush trilogy.
I don’t understand the issue of copyrights though. If they don’t have copyright to the Warner shit, why was “Bad Blood” featured on ‘Rantology’ along with those tracks from Sphinctour?
